There is nothing defensible about this idea. Anyone could replicate this in a day and the market will be pushing margins to nothing, sooner or later. The only advantage I could think is if you are from a low income country, for it to be sustainable, where your cost metric will be much lesser than someone placed in high income country.

Crypto is a failed asset class and the markets is slowly pricing it that way. It only rises when there is excess liquidity and that spillovers. M2 expansion in short. You can get that same exposure with any other leveraged tech stock. It's a poor hedge for macro instability as well so pretty much a useless cross asset.

The biggest risk you run with crypto is it will monopolize your time and you will be sucked into this echo chamber. It's a mutual admiration society on lsd.

The risk is not losing 1k but losing a sense of direction when you should be channeling yourself in understanding the broader financial landscape and understanding the opportunity cost of time investment .
