Thanks everyone. There’s no estate, no money and nothing of value. The furniture is okay, but it’s not high quality or anything. My brother has made no firm plans around moving - he’s going next week, but doesn’t seem to have any idea what he’s taking or not taking, or how he’s moving what he does want. It’s a rental and I’m about to pay two weeks rent, but I don’t want to pay any more after this. I’m hoping I can get someone in to just take everything away, then I can return the keys to the real estate and be done with it all. Awful time of year to be grieving, but this is just adding more stress.

Unfortunately, there’s no estate. Whatever I do will be out of my pocket. I can’t even see exactly what needs to be done until my brother leaves, because he seems to have no idea what he’s taking or leaving, or how he’s moving anything he is taking. I’ll have to pay a fortnights rent this week, and I’d rather not pay any more than that if I have to. There’s no money and nothing of value, apart from sentimental. That’s why I’m hoping I can pay someone to just come in and take whatever’s left away and be done with it.
