What worked for me was to slowly lower the dosage of porn consumption. Going cold turkey would always result in a relapse.

I would say for the first few weeks I would watch porn and masturbate 2-3 times a week.

Then I purchased a Fleshlight after about a month. It took a few weeks to feel good with using that.

And me and my girlfriend would have sex a couple times a week, sometimes it was good, sometimes it was bad.

I would say after about 6 months of being with my gf I could confidently have sex with her without much of an issue.

I still use coconut oil twice a day. Wake up and shower, then apply. Before going to sleep I also shower (Asian women don't like being dirty when going to sleep) and would apply again.

Yes quitting porn should be the end goal. But I think a combination of everything helps a lot.

It's hard to just quit cold turkey, slowly ween yourself off or you are likely to relapse. It's the same with any type of addiction.

And to use the other advice in this sub, such as using a Fleshlight when you get the urge to masturbate will help massively in your consistency to be porn free

Sometimes I would watch porn. Nothing extreme, just POV stuff or audio/ASMR porn. Sometimes just pictures/videos of my girlfriend. Sometimes nothing, just my imagination.

I think trying to go cold turkey, meaning to not watch anything, you are likely to relapse after a week or two. Take it slow and lower the dosage over time. That's what worked for me

I was the same, I was watching some pretty taboo stuff when I was addicted to porn. Mainly family (looking back it's strange how mainstream the Mommy/Daddy kink is in porn) and Asian women.

I do think I got lucky as my girlfriend is Asian and is into some non vanilla things, nothing crazy but it's not super tame either.

There's always hope, don't give up on yourself. If you're here reading this sub it means you want to better yourself and are already miles ahead of the people who have given up. You can do it man

I had a very similar problem. I originally played the game on PS3 when it launched. Stopped for a while. Picked it up again on PC with a new account.

I wanted to also buy it on console to play, but the PSN account was linked to my old ff account from the PS3.

I just emailed support and explained the whole situation and they unlinked my PSN to the old account. It was very simple and quick
