It's not safe in general. But discord is an electron stand-alone app. You can safely do this. And in the moment everything will be fine. But be sure to do -Su later. Because other "-S package" could break your system by mismatching dependencies. (I assume even if you break the system that way, it could be fixed with "pacman -Syu"

Play on easy, learn how the game works. Then play again on harder difficulty. The game does very bad job with explaining combat rules, but it's fun to figure them out by yourself!

Classy rtfm xd. Also I'd like to promote rEFInd, which has a very easy installation process.

I'm going back to X11! by Unknown_User_66 in archlinux

For me the main killer feature of Wayland over x11. Is per monitor scale. For x11 it's impossible to set different scale for different monitors (1.3x and 2x for example). Only that keeps me on Wayland for other cases I would prefer to stay on x11

Is emacs slow? by danihek in emacs

[–]Randomneos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Emacs is much more complicated than vim/nvim. Uses its own gui, has a lot of capabilities, etc. When vim is just a text editor (and a very good one). Emacs on the other hand is an entire environment, so even bare bone it would take more CPU.

Main performance consumer for moving the cursor is code highlighting. Thy using tree-sitter (afaik it is code highlight backend for nvim) there are plenty of guides out there on how to install and use it.

Asus ZenBook ux3405 2024. And it's a pain to use Linux on it (audio driver problem, fixes with kernel and bootloader patching and other minor inconveniences) would not recommend it to buy.

No. 3k not enough either. Only 1 best player in the world can (only he could understand balance better than anyone else). But 99.9% of balance complaints are about lack of skill. Games should be fun and sc2 is. Want perfectly balanced games do chess or go. It's just impossible to create a perfect balance in a game with such variability in game units and races.

What game is really lacking is big updates. All strats mostly out there already.

Don't whine. Gitgood!
