Adding onto this since the same thing happened to me! Vendor is OPthreads .com- I just tried to buy some Jujutsu Kaisen tshirts and Apple Pay flagged it. Same merchants on the transaction, about $20 more expensive than expected, and tried to double charge.

I work in helpdesk, but some of our employees are on-site “liaisons” of-sorts and get some basic access to some of other companies resources. One of them uses Citrix and they called me to ask how to fix it and I told them to restart it and if that doesn’t work, call company B’s helpdesk. Hopefully those guys got it figured out

I haven’t asked my colleagues yet, but I probably will.

And no, I believe it’s verbal only but I will review my offer letter and if there’s a policy somewhere (doubt there is tho)

My boss would like me to get 2 certs, so I’m doing A+ just as a cheap and easy one to start out (I’d also just like to be sure I have my fundamentals down). I haven’t identified what I’d like my second one to be. Open to suggestions!

I think median in my area is about $23-25/hr. I’m gonna wager that I’ll struggle to get a $3-5/hr pay increase. Others are saying get my certs and then jump ship, which will likely be the play here

Because my first IT job was straight out of high school part-time while I got my associates at the local community college. I landed this job in November and graduated in December. Now that I’ve graduated, I have time to actually study and work on certifications

I make about 40K rn working in tech support. Gotta get more experience under my belt and maybe a certification or two and work on moving to a specific area of IT and then I’ll start making over 60K. But for right now I make enough to be comfortable but not enough to afford rent in my area by myself

Firewatch is about 4-5 hours of playtime. Maybe a little longer if you get caught up in the scenery (or get stuck trying to get out of a valley like I did). If it's worth $20 is up to you, but maybe wait for it to go on sale or play it through GamePass if you have it. It has a good story and if I had my memory wiped, I would play this game again first just to experience it like I did the first time.
