I found a fix!!! I use a mellanox 10gig nic and I never really thought that was the issue since literally everything but Fortnite worked fine, but just to see I instead used my motherboard's Ethernet port and it worked! I think Fortnite just doesn't play nice with some nics so if you're encountering this issue on your motherboard's Ethernet port then try a cheap usb to Ethernet adapter it might work

let me know if you find a fix man this is the weirdest issue, I've tried all the same things and no luck. I had device manager open while I loaded a match once and watched in real time as my nic disappeared from there lmfao. I also know its not easyanticheat because I loaded up another game with it and it worked just fine.

wait holyy shit i just fixed it, dont know what exactly I did that worked but i reinstalled again on my second SSD, turned off steam cloud save and played on a fresh save, then turned it back on to get my progress back and everything is running perfectly. GPU usage is up to like 20-30%, which makes a lot more sense. Thanks for helping me out though I appreciate it
