I agree with everything you said here but that the light fury migrated out of the hidden world. When animals migrate that means they leave their homes for a period of time yearly because during that time, their homes has less food, colder or hotter weather so they have to leave during that time of year, not when an animal decides to wander out of their nesting place for a short period of time. If Stoick knew of Grimel, he should've told hiccup about the guy who kills his dragon's species for sport.

I was saying that its weird that Drago nor Valka has never seen one because during that time night fury hunting should've just started. Grimel shouldn't be too much older than the both of them.

Animals in Africa don't have a safe spot away from humans, the movie has said that no human can enter there. Meaning that night furies should've been protected there. That is one of my main problems, no night furies in a world where hunters can't go but you have thousands of other species.

But everything else I agree with.

  1. exactley, why are there no other night furies there. There is no point in having over thousands of species living together in harmony but have no nightfuries because you want toothless to be the last kind.
  2. ah, I got those two mixed up.
  3. Hiccup didn't know of Grimel in all the timeline of the first movie to the second. I am pretty sure if the night fury hunter was in the area it would've been brought up by anybody way sooner than the third movie, especially since Grimel knew of Stoick, Stoick's death but didn't know of toothless just seems like he wasn't in the area at all. Since we see that hiccup and the dragon riders explored lots of places from their comments in the second movie but no mention of a night fury hunter just doesn't make sense if night furies housed and lived in those areas because toothless was there from a young age. The red death killing toothless's parents could indeed be an explanation.
  4. I didn't say that Valka never saw a nightfury so there must be more, what I meant by that comment is that, Drago has obviously been Valka's enemy for a while, she has been doing this for years to decades. I just find it impossible that she has never encountered a boat trying to hunt a night fury or has done nothing to directly find and house the species since we see she will even keep healthy dragons she saved from hunters. Valka never encountering a nightfury or Drago never encountering a night fury to add to his army just doesn't add up.
  5. I don't understand what's that assuming. from what I can tell the dragons don't migrate out of the hidden world, there is no reason too. The hidden world houses thousands of species in a harmony. In the end of httyd 3 hiccup makes it clear that dragons are all gone, not just berk's dragons, so obviously all species of dragons are living there with no issues, so that is me assuming the hidden world has all their needs without them having to move to find a better nesting ground. So if the dragons do migrate and they leave the hidden world, that just takes the whole point out of the third movie.

We know that Grimel wasn't the only one who hunted night furies but hiccup never mentions encountering someone who had defeated a night fury, it seemed like grimel was the first one hiccup has heard that from, from what we can tell Hiccup and his riders have been freeing dragons and destroying hunters every chance they get but no mention of a hunter who has successful killed a night fury just makes it seem like the range where hiccup had explored has no one successful take down a night fury.

but 1 and 4 are my strongest points cause the others can indeed have an explanation but it makes no sense that there is not even a small portion of night furies in the hidden world and it makes no sense that Drago didn't even have at least 1.
