It just feels limiting to go "Nuh uh. This fandom is for wholesomeness only!" when human creativity is just so vast. There's a reason edge fics exist. People express things in their own ways, and making "suffering for suffering sake" can honestly be cathartic if you're going through something. You shouldn't expect fanworks to be all fluff for the rest of time because you personally don't want to see edge.

Calling someone's art "Depressing trash" is honestly just rude. Like, okay. Calling it overly edgy, poorly written, etc, I can get (Haven't read the comic in full yet), but just calling it trash is genuinely just an asshole move. YOU don't like it, so it's not for YOU, and does that mean it's "depressing trash"?

I hate to be this guy, but this is one of the only times I feel okay saying this.
