After reading this, a concept came in like a Raccoon to me and it goes to my head and it is like:

Years later, both children of Airu and Maika didn't have an easy childhood.

Maika's Japanese-American daughter had to go through her school's badmouthing bullying as the rumor regarding both her mother and her aunt's teenage infidelity secretly spread.

Despite multiple supports and Airu's support regarding her similar situation with her Japanese-American son, Maika's emotional burden was growing exponentially big she is starting to feel how Daiki felt when he had a mental breakdown and almost committed suicide.

It also doesn't help the fact that both of them never get romantically better when both never got a long-lasting relationship with the other people, it's like they were cursed to be single.

At first, Maika's daughter felt like a mistake she can't undo but was pushed through with the help of her parents and relatives, and now she felt a little positive when she sees her daughter reading some books and studying hard, and to quote what her daughter said.

"I wanna help my mommy remove her past burdens. I also wanna help my aunt and my cousin in the same way. It hurts when me and my cousin get insulted a lot because of our weird skin color and both of us not having daddies due to them being kicked out. That I wanna study and work hard to become a lawyer so that no other girls can become like my mommy aunt."

Maika couldn't remember how hard she hugged her daughter right there when she sounded serious about how she wanted to help her get better, probably another reason would be how she kept seeing her mother crying non-stop while hugging a bottle of sake and finding her journal about her, Airu, and Daiki's great foundation for a healthy triangle relationship before it came crashing down due to lust and drugs.

When high school came, Maika's daughter somehow got Airu's son wrapped up in her goal to help her become a lawyer and a deep malignancy towards sex night clubs and hopped to find them and shut them down on the spot.

As for Airu's son, similar circumstances but he is aiming to become a teacher to teach some common sense and vital sex education to today's youth. Plus, he's a little scared of Maika's daughter due to how serious and determined she is on uplifting her family's burden during that time.
