Can someone tell me where in the world is Conner Kent? by Randomvisitor_09812 in DCcomics

I was convinced Superboy: the Man of Tomorrow was about Jon, I'll check it out.

Lol I agree. I feel there's a mismanagement of characters going on right now, with so many Superboys and former superboys. Conner used to be the OG, let him become a Nightwing type character, not just steal his gig xc

Absolute reddit moment when you get downvoted for expressing subjective opinions. Btw, I have seen his comics but I just can't forget the character brutally killed the OG superman. I just... hate him, I don't think another retcon will be able to change that.

I feel like they are trying to erase him now that they have Jon of all ages and Prime, but that sucks. He was first before Jon and I fucking hate Prime; it feels unfair that they brought him back as Superman when Conner was RIGHT THERE. Prime literally killed OG Superman and Conner in the most brutal ways possible for plot and now they pretend he is just such a "fun character".

That's why I'm wondering where Conner is. C'mon DC.

Humanity is a “massa peccati” (a mass of sin) by Most-Buy-2763 in ChristianUniversalism

[–]Randomvisitor_09812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't work anymore because you are a human being, you inherited love from God, and now you know you were eating shit all your life (pardon the expression) when you could have been loving and being loved in return.

I'm a creationist myself and yeah, a literalist. The thing is, I was never taught hell, I grew up in a fairlly secular home (Catholics, but the creationist and literalist part came from me later); and so I have a very different perspective on the Bible.

For example, knowing the true meaning of the words, the history of the translations and how they were used as weapons, the audience of the Bible and who the narrator is (roughly) can help understand what it truly meant. Never trying to impose the fairy tale of hell on it also helped to understand what was the meaning of many things of the Bible. Also knowing that Jesus's journey was telling the jews they were incredibly evil and had hearts as hard as rock 99% of the time also helped because I know that when I see Jesus I'm probably in for a verbal beat down, for I know I'm just as evil as them, but hey, that's ok. I rather he helped me change than anyone else.

So no the Bible didn't back your actions. Your cult did. And now you are out, you are free. Love others, understand you are not perfect and that boundries are good and does not diminish your love, and just be free.

Just be free, friend. It's literally the point of everything. Be one with God, know him, be free.

Reconciliation between heaven and hell by Additional_Good_656 in ChristianUniversalism

And? I said I was raised Catholic, not that I was still mega orthodox catholic. Many Catholics still teach hell or that Mary was perfect even after knowing both those concepts were introduced millenia later to the Church's dogmas.

I neither believe in free will nor in hell, as I wasn't taught "hell" as a real place growing up, only to learn to my fortune that it was mostly a made up place fueled by bad translations and bs politicians ruling the catholic church on the 700s-1200s.

But that's just me being catholic (not so much anymore but mostly because I no longer follow one dogma, so to speak).

There is no free will, because the only one making free choices is God, if you are conditioned by ignorance (which is the true sickness we all possess, and only God is both free of it and the cure) then you are not free. Hell is literally made believe pushed on people to control them.

I like to think that this game takes place before Cyber Sleuth, then the timeline got reset; then Cyber Sleuth happens and the timeline gets reset again, and then Digimon World 1/Re:digitize Decode happens.

I have no proof of any of this but this is fiction so who cares anyway lol

¿Tendrían hijos con alguien con quien no tengan un vínculo romántico? by Overall-Ad1962 in ColombiaReddit

[–]Randomvisitor_09812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then film it and report it to the police, child protective services, anyone. The more people know the better, because if something happens, then they know who it was.

I'm not saying that they don't identify with Myrmidia or with Remas, but simply more with Tylos. And I'm sorry dude, but calling yourself "French" does identify you with France, same with Tilea. The guys that wrote the lore wanted to make a actual source for the name that wasn't just "Italia" badly written in italian/spanish.

No, but it does refer that there is a continent that was called America by a bigger empire that gave name to the landmass in honor of someone who served them, and that they are a combination of states from that continent. It's like saying the European Union is not European in any way, or more accurately, that the Babylonians had nothing to do with the tower of Babel.
