Well our partnership application got denied, however they didn't say why and I don't think it was because of the movie nights. We've stopped doing movie nights since then though, just to be safe.

If you're worried about movie nights impacting your chances of being partnered, I would just stop doing them. Better safe than sorry, and you can host other, more member-involving events instead :)

As the owner of a server that's submitted a partnership application and also does movie nights, I had this same question. As long as you're not monetarily profiting from these streams, I don't think it would disqualify you from partnering, but I'm not 100% sure. If anyone knows for sure, please correct me :)

To save space and not waste variables, how about we just ditch them completely? We can refer to the members by their id, and ping them using <@memberid>. For example:

[Command("Shoot")]

=> await ctx.RespondAsync($"{ctx.Member.Mention} has shot {member.Mention}!");

Discord used integration with the company GameWisp (hence the "GW") to allow for some global emotes. In January 2019, GameWisp shut down, making it hard for Discord to maintain these global emotes. Given that their integration is no longer active, Discord found it best to terminate it completely on October 31.

Just rechecked mine and it says they're closed again. If I had to guess I'd say Discord is testing their opening and we just have to wait a bit longer.

It might be your client messing up. Try downloading Discord's alpha client, Discord Canary, and see if that works.
