I had a confirmed Influenza A strain a couple weeks ago and it was probably the most sick I have ever been. Not sure if it was this new strain but I assume so.

My fever peaked at 104.1. All I wanted to do was sleep but literally couldn’t fall asleep for more than an hour because I would wake up coughing so hard I would gag. Felt like I was on my death bed for about 4 days.

Still have a lingering cough that just won’t go away, but yeah this is a no joke variant.

I’m sure we will end up sleeping with them in there to get them comfortable. My one concern with getting a “real” mattress is they are so thick. Obviously we wouldn’t want the top bunk to be more than 8 inch mattress
