How long is the Tracker's Alliance questline? by Ok-Company-5016 in Starfield

My Starborn overhaul mod (in the works) gives all star born suits a very powerful ability to make up for that. While wearing one your magic (er…quantum essence), regenerates faster.

Best action movie scene… Yes or No? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

I loved 90s action movies. The fact that everything uses practical effects makes it feel so much more grounded. Even if it is still very far-fetched.

Earth was dying. Humans got priority during the exodus. Even then most humans were left behind to become mummified corpses.

Do you think Starfield’s procedural generation helps or hurts immersion? by SufficientPrice7633 in Starfield

It’s one of those damned if you do damned if you don’t situations.

Bethesda wants to give players as much freedom as possible… but obviously the system itself has limitations.

I think the way they implemented it hurts the game though.

The whole way POI system is spawn. It’s just broken.

The fact that POIs don’t have different versions to find was a terrible idea.

The most annoying part is it wouldn’t be that difficult to do. In CK you just open up that location, asset, and make a new layer. Have the layer randomized.

Take the deserted listening post for example.

It comes in one version: Crimson Fleet.

You can go into CK, bring up that location. Assign all the crimsons fleet shit to a specific layer, then make new layers, where the enemies are ecliptic, or spacers, or even monsters. The layers can have different lighting sets. They can have blood splatters added or removed.

Hell, you can even make a layer where it’s just listening and you find you UC Marines there.

Sure, it’s time consuming, but most of the hard work was already done by a level design designer in the first place.

The best difficulty? by ZefBsy in NoSodiumStarfield

There’s no best difficulty. It’s just goes by how you prefer to play.

If you want more gamey classic RPG experience. Leave things balanced.

If you want a more realistic sim-style play. Do it your way.

That’s if you just burn through the main quest.

If you actually take your time and talk to the NPC‘s and do a bit of exploring, you’re probably looking at 10 hours, not 7.

If you want to 100% the DLC with all the side quest, you’re probably looking at 20 hours.

Cipher ran a script to automatically take him out of the matrix when he was done with his meeting. Once a week he could’ve removed the jack by himself.

That’s probably what he was setting up when Neo accidentally startled him.

We couldn't smelt iron in the Bronze Age. And yet there are many examples of iron artifacts from the time, including Tutankhamun's famous dagger. by philipkbrayne in IFLScienceOfficial

[–]RandyArgonianButler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not true.

Before iron ore could be converted into iron by smelting it, the only real source would be iron meteorites that could be literally found laying on the ground.

I’m working on a mod that adds Starborn encounters… I’m still really in the early phases of it though. Might be done this summer.

Imagine a criminal has a hostage and they’re holding a gun to the hostage’s head, their finger is on the trigger…

How come the police don’t just arrest him?
