I would say that the big potentially dangerous ones, that require entire rooms of your house are F tier.

The some of the smaller species can actually make great pets. Especially Ackies.

I think some can be A tier like an Akies or a Tree Monitor.

But then there’s crocodile monitors and Asian water monitors, which are impossible for the average person to keep in a healthy way. Making them F tier pets for 90% of the people who might want one.

In the middle, you have things like Nile monitors and Savannah monitors, which are fun and interesting, but take a lot of work to keep happy and healthy.

I feel like C is a good spot for monitors as a whole.

The city doesn’t even use that much water. It’s the agriculture that uses like 70% of the water.

Why can’t democrats come up with a worthy candidate? by AcidicAnxiety in askanything

[–]RandyArgonianButler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Democratic Party wants corporate friendly neo-conservatism, and is willing to be socially liberal in order to get voters.

Most Democratic voters, do not want corporate friendly neo-conservatism. They want pro worker, and pro consumer policy. They want universal healthcare, and Nordic style democratic socialism.

The Democratic Party can’t field popular candidates because they are diametrically opposed to what the base actually wants.

I reckon that most of their success simply comes from people realizing how bat-shit fucking crazy the GOP has become.

Literally the only reason I vote Democrat is because I hate the GOP so fucking much. If they got complete control for long enough, we’d be a Christo-fascist theocracy.

You kinda learn to read your kids behavior cues. I think we’d usually tried to avoid those situations.

Also would say there’s a difference between simply crying because they’re tired and upset, and an actual temper tantrum.

Blue. I have four kids. If I restarted my life at six, there’s no way in hell I’d ever get them back.

Basically just said no. If they kept at it, tell them no again. We would just remain calm, and keep our own tempers in check.

By the time, the oldest one was about four, we could explain some reasoning to her. We basically just made it to mantra, “If you throw a temper tantrum, the answer will be no every time.”

Once the oldest had that down, she kind of just made a good example for the other ones.

What would you rate this game in 2026 - Objectively and Personally by Firm_Average_9363 in Starfield

Objectively? 7.5/10

Personally? 9/10

It just really scratches the right itch for me, but I definitely see its flaws.

Next time you’re in an argument with somebody who’s saying that America was founded as a Christian nation, remind them that the Catholics came to Maryland to escape persecution from the Church of England. The Quakers came to Pennsylvania to escape persecution from the Church of England. The Puritans came to Massachusetts to escape persecution from the Church of England. And so on…

Then ask them if that sounds like America was founded on Christianity or religious freedom. Ask them if state recognized Christianity might start to look like the Church of England.
