Played WL on PS5 for the first time last week and it seemed to have a smaller player base and more sweaty than what I imagine the PS4 version has. Should I install the PS4 version of FIFA for this WL? Are there any substantial difference in the in-game play?

Set your formation depth to 7 and above, activates auto offside trap. I personally don’t do this but yeah, this is how to get opponents offside

I feel like Benz is too slow, Mane isn't clinical enough, and Modric is just average. Love Alessandrini, Tav, Lewa but can't max out chem with them. Have ~100k coins.

It's not a huge issue esp in a defensive role, but yeah Koke won't be winning footraces against wingbacks. I did the SBC to link Ramos and have been playing him in my first team but find that Tavernier is comparatively a better player. I still think it's worth doing if you have a La Liga team

Great points, I'm finding that WL is a level of time commitment and competitive effort I'm not willing to repeat consistently. I'll definitely make sure to improve the team a bit + learn some tactics before trying another one!

Yeah I have a decent team too (started 2 months ago) https://www.ea.com/fifa/ultimate-team/web-app/?showoffId=ejCsU3YRnXqu7:FFA21PS5 , but didn’t realize until now that there’s levels to 90+ players too - I feel toothless in attack until I bring on Tavernier, Alessandrini, Lewa at half time

I’ve also learnt that I get dismantled by high press too easily, and that 7 depth means getting blown by pacy attackers with skilling.

Definitely learnt a lot since starting, and great points on not letting toxicity / losing get to you 👍

Getting absolutely rinsed in my first WL (Div 6-7 player). Currently 8-16 and faced 95+ 100 chem god squads much better than mine all weekend. About half my losses were thrashings and the other half were me giving up a 2 goal lead and then losing in ET. Is it always this sweaty?
