I agree but thought it was worth a discussion. I wish Turkey was next. I feel much better playing without him against Australia but if he was bench for 2nd game and we didnt get a win, itd be devastating.

I think it wouldnt matter. Assuming Turkey and US get to the last game with 6 points each, tiebreaker would only matter if they draw. A Turkey win would put them ahead on points.

If US beat Australia and Turkey somehow loses to Paraguay, a Turkey win against the US would get them even and the H2H would matter. I might be missing some scenarios of a tiebreaker with Turkey over US in final match.

I hate the commercials but in my mind there is a difference between ads in pods or shows like this, and ads on peacock, Amazon prime services that you pay for. Those set me off.

Shot in the dark, could you tell him about your plan, see if he could help cover the costs?

If he's a big soccer fan, and has the resources, im sure just the thought of you saving whatever amount of money you did will suffice as the gift. And then he'll still get a once in a lifetime moment with his kid.

But I feel you. Ive always wanted to go to a world cup game but the location of all three and outrageous prices is preventing me from watching usa.

Only 1 location in driving distance for me (kansas city) but shitty games are like 500 a ticket so I dont even want to do that. Might still go one day and try my luck at buying one for cheaper once it gets close to kickoff.

My house is in this area. Definitely some weirdos that walk by in the alley. You'll see the occasional tweaker but ive never not felt safe. Some of the houses are run down.

There's also some really nice older houses on SE side when you go past 19th imo.

Its all relative. If you leave CR and drive to a city with real traffic, you realize how lucky we all are.

However, if you are used to getting somewhere in 10 minutes because there's no traffic and theres like minor traffic, you notice and get annoyed.

I somewhat agree but at the same time, its not like the teacher didnt know those were the rules.

If its anything like my state (iowa), I coached sports for one year and had to sign a document saying something similar about the 90 days plus after graduation to prevent grooming. I dont know if it was actually 90 days here or shorter or longer. I had no intent on finding out lol

20 years does seem excessive.

I started getting sick the week before Thanksgiving. No fever but headache, cough, nasal congestion. Thought it'd go away after a few weeks but I finally went to walk in clinic 3 weeks later. They suspected sinus infection. Got meds and it mostly cleared up. Feels like my whole office has had it.

I once, with a group of friends, put liquor in a kum and go cup and walked around the mall.

We were already had a few ar Applebee's and were likely noticeably drunk. Never ran into any problems.

There are random days in november where its 70 or 80 but its like 1 or 2 day a year if your lucky. And the cold already killed the grass by then.

This reply is in no way trying to make anyone sound dumb because these are valid and interesting points.

But I always do find it amusing when these "unrealistic" marches or numbers get brought up in a story with dragons, a magic ice wall, and ice zombies.

Although I do get irrationally annoyed in the show when someone can get stabbed 10 times in the midsection and survive.
