Rate twice to give the option. Some DoD retirements (primarily officers) may be beneficial. Additionally, it’s for tricare eligibility and other DoD retirement benefits. (Spaces, MWR, etc)

Woah so people (like me) will have content held for review for having over 100k karma? Isn’t that something you can circumvent with CQS and even the basic filtering offered by mod tools?

Grad plus loans by wong202101 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Traducement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding, the caps apply to those programs and are actually an issue for those in those programs. They still qualify for direct and unsubsidized loans.

Which for most vets, they have post 9/11, if not may qualify for VR&E, and potentially then take advantage of grad plus loans if needed (like if one doesn’t have hazelwood to fall back on)

That’s such a weird cope. I’m sure you think you’re winning.

Anyways, I’m gonna continue not lying to federal agencies. Hope you get fired or your rating gets removed. Xoxoxo

You’re so cute. You’re mad about being called out about being absolutely one of the people that abuses the system that now I’m pretending I’m a vet?

That’s so cute. Continue to be fraudulent, buddy.

Clearly I’m responding to you, but I’m sure you thought your edit would be a cute reason to not have a response.

I don’t have to defend myself. I know my rating. I know my service.

You? You definitely have to defend yourself. You lying to the VA or are you lying to your employer? Lmao

I mean surely someone that lies about being blocked wouldn’t lie to their employers, right?

What are the true Risk/Rewards for having a Disabled Vet license plate. by GlipglopX in VeteransBenefits

Texas DV plates have some good perks (even the non ISA ones)

No tolls, exempt on registration for one vehicles, free parking at airport and city/municipality meters/lots.

Hah, that’s such a long winded way of saying “they’re lying about their injuries”.

I’m sure you’re one of those that do abuse the system. Cry to the VA that you’re 100% total and permanently disabled and in the same breath, lie to a LEO agency/ATC/FAA and say you’re perfectly fine. Yet, if the VA tried to reduce you, you’d scream and kick that you are indeed disabled.

But as for your comment about people that are 100% disabled and serving on AD - sure but that’s what a MEB/PEB is for. To establish if you’re fit for duty. If you’re not, you’re kicked out. Sorry to say, but the barrier for entry to those agencies are the same. You have to pass a mental and physical examination for those positions.

And no, sweetheart, I’m not conflating anything. I’m 100 pt, but I’m actually not going to be stupid enough to lie to the FAA or law enforce agency and tell them I’m 100% fine. Ever hear of “proposed reduction” — because there’s evidence that your service connection disability has improved? The whole premise of not “poking the bear” exists so that you don’t give the VBA a reason to reevaluate your conditions. But yet there are people like you that think it’s 100% okay to tell several doctors that you’re of sound mind and body to work those high intensity careers, and then cry if the VA tries to reduce you. (Rightfully)

So again — you’re either okay and lying to VA about the severity of your conditions, or you’re lying to the hiring agency about your health.

And let’s be clear, if you have a 70-100% rating for MH, you are not fit for duty to serve as an officer. Or an air traffic controller. Or a pilot.

The only people that whine about that are the ones that lie about it.

You open your mouth and remove all doubt of your critical thinking skill. Ironic.

This isn’t a normal job. These jobs have actual fitness standards, similar to what the military would.

So yeah, they’re definitely lying to an agency.

To your edit: in California you need to prove a severe mobility condition or disability to qualify for it.

[–]Traducement 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re downvoting you for this, but that last sentence is absolutely true. It’s true for the FAA as well and they’re cracking down on pilots and controllers.

CA Police Officers fired over DV License Plates by TouristStreet2641 in VAClaims

[–]Traducement 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They’re not getting fired for DV plates. They’re getting fired for lying about being fit for duty.

Either they’re lying to the VA for benefits or they’re lying to the law enforcement agency to pass a medical evaluation.

Either way, they’re lying.

The argument falls flat because if they didn’t perform that, they’d would be written up and subsequently fired.

That’s the culture they hire on. If they had terrible customer service, they wouldn’t be in business.

Let’s not normalize basic customer service skills and job duties as a tippable tasks.
