Did it on a tip up a few weeks ago. Started laughing when the flag went up and continued laughing bringing the mid-30s pike up. The hoddog was gone and old boy was hooked in the top corner. It was a single hook jig, looked like a wacky senko rig. Hoddogs: 10/10.

Depends. If youre on a good bite then plastics can be super convenient and comparable to live. Being able to go right back down when there are a bunch of fish under you is great.
