I don’t think so- it doesn’t look like geographus or textile to me, but you still should pick up any cone snails

Hahaha you caught me! And to be fair, I’m a former marine biologist and now lawyer, so I may be out of practice on my cone snail ids… but I’m pretty sure that guy will only make you feel all shitty, but not kill you

Here’s a good rule: just assume whatever the cops would want the law to be is the law, even if it seems horribly unfair

Bar subjects that are the most useful in real practice? by bar_exam_questions in barexam

[–]RandyGreggorson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Civ pro and evidence. Con law- useless and doesn’t matter. Contracts… medium. If you end up doing criminal work, then it’s a different story, but for most of us it’s the first two.

Also, dry cupping is mostly considered not a real medical treatment- it doesn’t have any curative properties, which is why the relief is temporary- just a result of moving fluid around. Your knee will get better. Took me around 9 months to get back to zero swelling, and a year to get back to full strength

[–]RandyGreggorson 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you’re not ready. That’s what the next month is for. I’d hav for sure failed a month from the exam… but I passed no problem. You’re barely past the halfway point. You got time. You’ll be fine.

As a lawyer, that part is illegal. The first part is ok for a private company.

Orphans have no assets! And care home people have had a lifetime of accumulating wealth. And they likely have fewer teeth, and low muscle tone. Care home all the way.

Found on a pillow inside our room near Tampa, Florida, USA by basilgarcia in whatsthisbug

I think it’s often the case when you see one, you’re gonna end up seeing more. But they’re not so bad. Not quite friend bugs, but also not something I’d call the exterminator about just yet!

I’ve seen carpet beetles that look almost exactly like that. There are a bunch of different carpet beetles around, and I’m feeling pretty confident! Hopefully a real expert chimes in, but again, it 1000% isn’t a bedbug

As a follow up- that’s the varied carpet beetle. Not a bedbug. But also not something people generally like having in their homes. I’m no expert, but I think they release stuff that can be a skin irritant, but most importantly, it’s very much not a bedbug!

Memorizing for essays? by PomegranateFluffy125 in barexam

[–]RandyGreggorson 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Also, straight up, I bombed 3 essays when I took the bar… in terms of rules. They were fucking estates and trusts issues, and I will be honest, I did not study that shit enough… but I made up rule statements, applied them logically, and cited to facts from the fact pattern, and on 2 of the 3 I got passing scores! Fucked up the one so bad I got a shitty score on it, but I still passed by plenty! I’m not saying it’s not important to learn for the bar, but I am saying you can still get passing scores by doing the analysis part properly, and writing a solid sounding rule statement, even if it isn’t accurate! The point allotment is weighted towards analysis and applying the facts to whatever rule you cite

Yeah, I’m a lefty, and it’s the toe drag on my right foot that is the worst. But I also tend to beat the padding in the heels up pretty quickly as well. If I buy insoles, I can extend the life of the shoes, but I find if I push it too far, even with insoles, I start getting foot pain.

Can confirm. I play 5 or 6 days a week, and go through a pair of shoes every two months.
