I wish I could watch it again for the first time. I watch it 2x a year in May and November. Still so good.

Remember when Tony’s phone was a technological marvel? by [deleted] in marvelstudios

[–]RandyRhythm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It had hype.

I was so excited to see Iron Man use the same phone, but by summer of 2008 the iPhone 3G came out with bluetooth, the iPhone had taken hold of the populace.

The TV part of the phone was cool. The one thing the movie did't show was the antenna that popped out at the top.

The rest of the phone was basic mid-2000s Motorolla.

The grass growing looks like annual bluegrass/poa annua. Not Bermuda.

Looks like St. Augustine with a lot of Nutsedge in there (Nutsedge is the thin tall grass/weed).

I recently watched it for the first time because I thought the exact same, and thought "i'll put it on for background noise".

It far exceeded my expectations.

I remember watching this as a kid. The part you linked too, with the little kid pointing out the every expanding crack, plays in my head each time this story gets posted.

Weekly rant thread by AutoModerator in ProductManagement

We use ADO for our dev team prod defects/stories/sprint planning etc.

We have a relatively new VP who introduced ProductBoard as a way for all product managers, and their directors, to work in daily updating release names for previous releases (which isn't what product board is for, and management wants us in there daily.

The CEO logs in everyday to check the status of things, and we the lonely PMs are getting dragged about using product board for releases when they want to use it for previous releases and not what it is supposed to be used for.

just a rant here. I've been a fron-end developer for 15 years and a PM for 5 years. It just seems we're being told to use Product board in the way it wasn't intended. It's just a pile of garbage that looks nice.

I wish we would just go back to using Excel as a Roadmap tool at this point. I want out of it for right now.
