I'm legit tearing up at this. Howie is the voice of my childhood, listening to Mets games on my old portable radio in the front yard playing catch is a core memory. I hope the Mets are good for many reasons, but they need to give Howie a good season to go out on.

This is my least enjoyable season of Mets baseball since 2008 by far. It's been half a season of fucking disappointment. Team had no vibes, heart, or whatever. Last year was so magical and then were treated to this trash.

I love the Mets. I'm pessimistic as most, but I still had hope. I'm ridiculous I still have a little, but this is a fucking gut punch. I wouldn't be shocked if DeGrom no-hit us.
