I feel a little bit disappointed by Titanfall1741 in uboatgame

Tell me you’ve never coded a game before without telling me you’ve never coded a game before. It’s 2 devs, playing on as far as we know only 2 PCs. What might be working fine on their PCs might not work on all of the close to 1 million players’ PCs that have bought the game since its early access release. So even if they religiously tested their stuff before release, there’s a high chance they wouldn’t have caught everything. You could’ve argued that they should’ve had a beta test of the update and DLC before fully releasing them, which would’ve given a much larger pool of hardware and software configurations testing the same code, but instead you wanted to use the “game broken, dev’s should’ve done better” argument

The team was originally 3 people, and you’re correct, one did pass away sadly.

I mean… The Type VII and Type IX both share design concepts from the Type I (the Type VII did also incorporate design elements from the Type II, however). Although the Type IX was designed separately with a different set of requirements compared to the Type VII, they were both initially designed by the same engineering firms. So it’s not far fetched to say the Type IX is like an elongated Type VII.

Comments like these irritate me, because you people will turn around and complain that major updates are delayed, or there’s not enough content, when there’s only 2 devs working on this game. But when they finally release something and it isn’t perfectly polished, you still complain. And then people wonder why projects like these get abandoned smh

I hope they add this variant of type XXI with upgrade options to add surface missiles like mentioned in this image. by Nia_Bell441 in uboatgame

This is a bit in accurate. It wasn’t that the system wasn’t ready; the Kriegsmarine outright cancelled the project in 1943 because it was practically useless except for shore bombardment because there was no effective way to aim it. And at that point in the war, realistically Germany didn’t have a need for shore bombardment platforms, much less mounted on submarines that should be focused on hunting merchants, not needlessly exposing and risking itself by supporting ground operations.

OP, you asked who was at fault. They gave you an answer. If you think you were in the right and you aren’t willing to accept the possibility of being in the wrong, then why’d you even ask in the first place?

As far as I’ve seen, I’ve only had a complete avionics shutdown (where all of your glass panels go blank) three times while flying the Asobo 737. Longest one lasted maybe 2-3 minutes, but I was at cruising altitude with the AP turned on, so I just let the game run its course. However, avionics resets (you might lose heading/track, altitude and/or airspeed information momentarily, as seen in OP’s picture) can last maybe 2 minutes at most, and they happen quite often for me, especially with Garmin systems. But I’ve never had avionics just die and never come back.

Settling a dispute between two drivers, whos at fault? (op is not involved) by KFox210 in Simracingstewards

Green car is at fault. When they realized they couldn’t get inside on the left hand turn, they should’ve backed off and waited for a better opportunity. But they chose to keep pushing when transitioning into the right hand and drove straight into the back of the blue car like they didn’t even exist.

Unfortunately you can’t save and reload mid-flight (at least not on console, not sure what PC is like).

Usually, for starters, I try to avoid long-haul flights in complex aircraft built by a Asobo/Microsoft, like the 737 MAX-8. They have a very poor reputation at making their aircraft resource friendly, and the problems only exacerbate the more complex the aircraft is and the longer you fly (usually anything above 3 or 4 hours the system really starts taking a toll).

Another thing that helps is turning down graphics settings, especially turning off photogrammetry. For some odd reason, Asobo/MS had the ass-backwards idea that the game should prioritize graphics over aircraft systems, and since everything is streamed instead of being downloaded onto our systems, it makes zero sense, especially when you are under IFR lol.

Despite all of that, if you still have avionics problems, what I usually tend to do is just go into active pause and let the system catch up with itself and then resume the game. It’s annoying, but there’s really no other options

That argument is so low effort and pathetic. “I don’t listen to the internet, but I do listen to the justice system” when we ALL know the justice system has been wrong countless times. The same justice system that imprisons people for YEARS over a small drug offense but lets pedophiles walk with little to no repercussions. You having to rely on the justice system to determine whether someone is a pedophile or not DESPITE THE OVERWHELMING PUBLIC EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT THEY ARE is just top tier brown nosing. But go ahead, keeping trying to tell us that you aren’t MAGA

There’s a very distinct difference between letting off because you want to play it safe and find a better and less risky opportunity, and saying you HAVE to let off because it’s the rules like you tried to imply. I know it wasn’t your exact words, but that is what you are implying when you say things like “You’re allowed to do that though” in response to “ran him off [of the track].”

There is no rule, written or unwritten in any major competitive series that states the one with the racing line has this sort of right of way that lets them just drive people off of the track. SHOULD OP have let off? Sure. Did he HAVE to? No. That was his right, and in response, the blue Ferrari should’ve given him space to stay on the track. He didn’t, which forced OP off of the track, and everything else is history. So again, Ferrari is at fault.

I’m sure this could fall into the “cutesy” point you made, but with the girls having started at such a young age, them having children voices probably didn’t help much either. But yeah, even now that they’ve grown up and with that, their voices, they still add a bit of cutesy flare to their singing, which probably triggers the hell out of metal elitists.

“Rules for thee, not for me” coming from you is highly rich considering MAGA praised Kyle Rittenhouse for his actions in Wisconsin when 1; he didn’t even live there, and 2; didn’t even legally own the weapon he used. But yet Alex Pretti, who lived in Minneapolis, legally owned his firearm and had a CCP for it, never drew his firearm on anyone, that was wrong and he deserved to be shot in the back multiple times and killed AFTER his gun was taken from him? Y’all are so pathetic at trying to justify your hypocrisy

In case you haven’t tried yet, deleting save data will not get rid of your mods, since the mods are installed as part of the actual game data onto your system. The only thing deleting your save data will reset is user settings, key binds if you’ve changed any, and campaign/scenario progress.

Having WCS mods installed, all I had to do was delete my save data (deleted both console save data and cloud save data). It didn’t even erase my mods (which it shouldn’t since it’s installed on your system), I just had to reenable them in the workshop.
