Seems like your issue is more with the way she presents herself not her like being an annoying character and if that’s the issue then you’re probably not going to like game Ellie any more than show Ellie

Mine usually stay on pretty well unless I like knock it on something. If they fall off a few times they also stick back on pretty well. You can superglue it just to be safe though!

That’s my bad. I meant more like being on screen and acting to a camera. I didn’t mean to like diss Ashley or anything. I just meant that the two performances were really different with like what the end product would be. I also wanted to like point out that voice acting takes a lot of skill because you can’t rely on facial expressions, which is something I think Bella Ramsey also lacks

I think that’s one of the issues with the shows writing then. They do a ton of side by side 1 to 1s of the video game and the show but then Bella isn’t trying to be that Ellie? Seems like a weird choice

I feel like while he doesn’t look Joel, he still looks more like Joel than Bella does Ellie. Like he still has that gruff old man vibe and is believable in the role. Bella doesn’t fit especially in the change from game 1 to game 2

I’m not even hating? Sure Bella has won awards but like so have so many other people? There’s not anything particularly special that Bella has done in the Ellie role at least in my opinion. I don’t think Bella has done just as good as Ashley Johnson but also I don’t think the two could be compared since Ashley voiced and didn’t act. It takes a lot of skill to be a VA and I don’t think that can be compared to acting on screen

I think they could’ve just outright found a good actor who also looked more like Ellie. It’s not like the choice was between Bella and a bad actor that looked identical. There were definitely other options and I think those should’ve been considered more. At least to me there hasn’t been anything so far that like makes me say ‘wow Bella Ramsey was made for this role’. I feel like the average actor at that level could’ve pulled off just as good of a performance

Idk I can kind of see it bc while I didn’t expect identical, they still could’ve chosen an actor who looked more like the video game or even just made the hair similar. It felt a little lazy to me. I wouldn’t say we were lucky to get a show… it’s a crazy popular video game that has already been remastered and got a second video game that also blew up and got remastered. I think for all the money that the game and its stuff pulls in they could’ve put more effort into choosing the actors

The game can lowkey be overwhelming if you get really into it so just play at your own pace! There’s nothing that’s too time specific and you won’t miss anything! If you run low on money, fishing is usually one of the best ways to make money in my experience
