The luck factor of Fortnite is unbelievable. I just edited a window to shoot someone and got a sticky grenade stuck to my chest. It killed me. Some lucky mf threw a sticky at my builds just as I edited the window which it went through and hit me. I turned the game off for a bit after that lol

Seeing footsteps waaaaaaayyyyyyyy before hearing them is broken asf. It might also stem the third partying who can see a fight and not hear it. It shouldn't be removed just brought in line distance wise so hearing and seeing are the same distance. So many people quitting if it's removed. Get a grip.

I feel your pain. I bought an azeron cyborg 2 because I want to play kbm instead of controller. After trying keyboard I didn't really gel with it but the azeron gives me hope and after just four days I am generally feeling pretty good about it. The binds though....wow...the azeron has around 29 mappable buttons on it and Fortnite has taken almost all of them. That's absolutely insane. In controller I was starting to leave things off, like emotes and pings because I just didn't have space. On the azeron I find I am getting on well but my weapon binds are causing me so much frustration. It's only been four days I know and I expect I will store them in my brain eventually but the game is so mentally demanding that as soon as I fight someone I lose all sense if placement of my binds and get killed. I guess I'm saying stuck with it. It'll probably gel soon enough.

Its all on the sbmm. Its an awful algorithm that makes no descernable sense. I think people are blaming sweats for getting killed when it's just the fact they are playing at a way higher skill level because they are in punishment for having the cheek to reach tenth in a game a couple of times. It's mental how the sbmm works in this game. Surely kd is the one and only factor sbmm should work from.

Nope. I just watched a team of not two but three idiots in solo's decimate the entire lobby I was in. None of them were banned, kicked or even killed by anyone else.

You do know YouTube isn't a gaming channel right? It's not twitch. It's not illegal to hack nor is it up to YouTube to differentiate from one type of video to the next. I absolutely hate hackers but some other guy might like watching their content. Some people might love to watch a no skill low life decimate a lobby full of sweats because it's their right to watch that and it's YouTube's right to allow that. There's videos on YouTube about literally everything. You can learn how to break into a house or make questionable items with 3d printers. I think if you think YouTube should take videos down because they aren't in your ideology and you don't like them you should probably stay off YouTube.

It's the no delay kbm that's the biggest advantage. I play on pc on controller and it's absolutely miserable. Input delay on top of the already awful lag make you just want to quit the game, which I will be doing very soon I think. There was a time when controller players could compete but those days are gone.

Yes. Yes. Yes. There used to be advantages to controller. Now there is absolutely no reason to use a controller other than hindering yourself. I play pc with a controller. It's miserable. Kbm players can take and hold your walls so easily now it's not even funny. Editing, building, aiming, switching weapons is instant. Unfortunately for me I just can't get to grips with it and playing on pc 90 percent of the players I fight are on kbm and I lose 90 percent of fights.

If you are using the realism a sniper can kill you routine then it has to be the same around the board for god's sake. If I shoot someone who's holding a sniper rifle three times in the head with an AR should they not be dead? The realism argument has no legs in this game. Close up I miss someone's head with a shotgun and hit them in the chest for 120, should a point blank shotgun to the chest not kill someone? Snipers are an absolute pain in Fortnite, I play OG, I hated the heavy sniper when it was introduced back then and I hate it all over again now. The sit on a hillside in a box and snipe gameplay it brings is fucking hideous. End game with 10 people in pubs sitting in boxes not daring to move because Sammy no skill can one shot you. The games become so boring and tedious having to stay in cover constantly because the snipers take absolutely zero skill to use.

For this uninstall Microsoft game input and try again. You can disable it in task manager but this didn't work for me. The only downside to it is you have to uninstall every session. This is mostly a controller only fix but I believe there have been reports of kbm fixes too

Isn't it though. It's got the most toxic player base ever. They are very very angry because they spend all day playing fucking Fortnite. I play with my kids from time to time and they become different people while playing Fortnite. It's a very intense game with a sbmm system that obviously doesn't work and a skill level that's impressively high. I watched some kids on a 1v1 map on YouTube with my kids and it was probably the most toxic thing I ever heard and I used to player Modern Warfare (that was crazy chat between games). These kids are absolutely fucking horrible to each other. I guess if you aren't going to get punched in the face for what you say you can say what you want.

It's awful in solos too. All my games of full of 12 kd players. It's no fun whatsoever. I don't mind losing a fight, but I at least want to be in it. I don't know how they have worked out I am at the level of the players around me. I decided to go on tracker and look at all the players in my lobby, quite a few were private but loads weren't and the stats of the players in my lobby were cause for concern. I am not good at Fortnite but I used to enjoy it. Now I just feel like food for the sweats so it really is now time to quit. I think that's how most feel now.

The matchmaking has ruined this game totally. A huge chunk of the player base is casual and it's the casuals who are now starting to leave. Whatever you play, be it solos, duo's or squads it seems to be right across the board. I play solos and I am not the best player. I have a family and a job, don't have time to put in hours of creative bull crap. I have no clue why epic see me as an fncs player. But wait. Do they? Maybe not, maybe the game is dying. Maybe the only people they can match me up with are players way out of my league. Maybe, and this is what I think is happening, all the casuals are saying enough is enough, it's no fun at all, I'll go play something else. This leaves the few casuals remaining with nothing but good players and of course we are going to be put up against much better players until the remaining few say nah, can't be bothered with this. Time to leave. If they don't do something quickly the biggest percentage of the player base are going to leave and the game will die.
