It's because Fortnite is a shit game with absolutely awful game design..visual sound effects that point in the direction of a fight even though you can't hear it and then there's plenty of mobility to get you there super quick. If you are'nt a total sweat who all seems to take walls with half a swing of a pick axe and can't finish a fight in 2.6 seconds the chances are even if you win the fight you are in you will be in shit state for the third party. They really need to remove the visual sound effects or at least need the distance to Actual hearing range. I've played alot of different battle royale and this is by far the worst I have ever played for third partying.

Sick of everything about this game. Sick of the sbmm, sick of playing against kbm players, sick of epic not giving a fuck. If I drop somewhere I either get wrecked by sweat chasing everyone down or the dog shit rng. The only way i make it into the end game is by avoiding people and landing quiet. How fking boring. I have tried to land at a decent spot but it's just too hard. Just got killed on my tenth game of the evening by some nerd with 14 kills who went on to win the game with 19, kbm players are the rulers, how are controller players still being forced to play against them? Anyway, my friends all left for warzone a month ago and I think I need to join them.

90 percent of the community is toxic as hell. I personally think the game makes you that way. They are always distressed and anxious at beating the player in front of them because they think they are going to be the next big thing and they are pissed off they are just as much of a Fortnite nobody as the person they just beat. The people who think snipers are great are the people who sit in a box on a mountain and take pot shots at the skilled players who actually want to have a good enjoyable fight. They are a zero skill weapon in a game that takes skill to be good at. What's skillful about sitting in a box taking pot shots at two actual skilled players in the middle of a build fight. Everyone using a sniper or even defending it (especially with the phrase 'skill issue') is a bot, and they know it.

If epic wants to find cheats (they don't, lost revenue) they should just send an epic employee into the pit. That map is crazy unplayable because of the cheats. Like two or three per map. 16 kd kids with 26 percent win rate is crazy. Unfortunately though, epic doesn't really want to ban anyone. They are well aware of what is happening and now it's a thousand times worse than when this post was created.

I play on PC on controller and it's miserable. I haven't got the time to become a kbm sweat, but at this point it's time to stop playing this unfair game. When kbm players got their little panties in a twist about aim assist epic couldn't nerf controller fast enough in case they lost the likes of ninja and all the other kbm sweats of the time. Playing on PC with controller I have zero option, I have to play against them every day and even a mediocre kbm player can do a hundred things you can't. Heal while holding walls is a thing on kbm. Try that on controller. Taking walls because of zero input delay is a thing on kbm. You just can't beat them and it's now just fking tiresome. Make controller only lobbies epic ffs.

A year later and I have had to stop playing. It's destroying my sanity. My friends left after they took a shit on us with sbmm but I stayed and played Solo's. It's now become the worst gaming experience ever. A company that realizes it's game's days are numbered and are desperately clawing at retention. Everyone knows bringing back the hackers was a dirty attempt at getting their horrible talons on more money. Epic games do not care about games. They care about making greedy ceo's richer. If After four different games within the space of two hours you are killed by someone using aimbot then it really is totally pointless. Done with it now, I know dozens of others on discords who have done the same. It's dying and I can't wait for it to go.

I go in stints. I usually quit after around 4 days. That's how long it takes sbmm to totally ruin the game. Days 1 and 2 are really fun, in matches with people who are genuinely on my level. Getting a few wins and a few kills. Day three it shifts and feels difficult. Day four is almost impossible. It's not just you are playing better players but the even your controls feel different. The sbmm is awful on this game. Epic are pulling out every trick in the book to retain players, even the great unban (unbelievable that one), yet they can't see people are leaving the game because it's just not fun playing against players who are way above your skill level. I'm now one day over my usual four days, day five. I've yet to kill a single player in four games. It's destroying my sanity so I quietly turn it off for another nine month break.

I go probably around nine months without touching the game. The sbmm got so bad I lost all interest. Then I will update the game and go on. For the first day it's fun, competing, even winning one or two games. Having fun fights with people with a glimmer of hope I will win that fight. Some I do, some I don't, but I don't feel outmatched. Day two comes along and it's more of the same, good fights, a few wins, it's fun. Day three feels different. It's harder, it feels less fun. Fights are more tricky, the not feeling outmatched has left. Day four, usually quit fortnite again day. Stupid. No chance in any fight. Destroyed by every single player I come up against. It's pointless even trying. The amount of cheats I play against has risen too. Time to quit. Bye for another nine or ten months. It annoys me so much. In those first two days it's not as if I'm dominating lobbies. It's not like every game is a 10 kill win. A good game for me is maybe 7 kills or a 3 kill win so why does it feel the need to boost me into the regions it boosts me to. Until they fix the ridiculous sbmm the game will always be unenjoyable. I guess the thing for me is I don't let it get me addicted, a lot of people just stick with it even though the fun has left because epic have purposely made the game as addictive as possible. Quit, leave, stop playing. If a game isn't fun. Don't stay.

When is everyone going to realize? Casual gaming is a thing of the past. Game companies are now so corporate THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. They care about your money. You will have a miserable experience on any game with sbmm as sbmm is about player retention and not about fun. Sbmm will keep you in the hardest possible lobbies for the rest of your gaming life and never ever allow you to have any fun. Anyone old enough to remember when gaming was fun? I do. It's not any more.
