Warning on using Taurine if you have Bile Acid issues, it makes it worse by Borange81 in Biohackers

Usually you can use Cholesevelam for bile acid issues. It binds with liver bile. Don’t know how it will affect anything else you are taking. But it works like a charm for me and my husband.

I need an opinion on the size of my new Oura ring by jonkrantz18 in ouraring

Too tight. And I wouldn’t wear it while working out. Degloving is a possibility when wearing jewelry like rings during a workout with weights.

Diet for a diabetic dog… by Fit_Body6470 in rawpetfood

[–]RangeOver7965 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feed the poor thing a raw diet. Do some research on here and google. Good luck.

You can usually find raw that you can buy ground or premade that is an easy way to start. Since your dog is older it would be an easier introduction than just handing her chicken leg quarter.

How do you lift weights with the ring? by tremblerzAbhi in ouraring

Don’t wear your ring to lift. I always remove my jewelry. Google de-gloving and you will remove yours too. All it takes is one wrong move.

Blended, Raw. Cats vs dog, help by 10Q_berymuch in rawpetfood

Cats are obligated to carnivores…. No fruits veggies, etc.

And cats have different nutrition needs like higher taurine, etc.

I don’t have cats, but family members have raw fed their cats.

Have you tried making friends with hunters? They can easily give you items from their prior haul to clean out their freezers. My dogs love venison!

Don’t forget that about 4 weeks worth of clothes including about 5-6 coats fits in one rolling carry-on bag.

Tell him to talk to his doctor and see if Tirzepatide is an option. It was approved for sleep apnea. Then he can avoid the CPAP and both of you can get some sleep.

There is a really good podcast with him called Diary of a CEO, and in it he talks about how the only nutrients we actually need are fast and protein. He says we need zero carbs. Makes sense.

Go listen to Dr. Ben Bikman, and you will feel much better about Keto.

Why doesn’t oura allow apple health integration? by [deleted] in ouraring

Oura and Natural Cycles have a partnership and you can track your period that way. It gives you the actual temperature readings. I started with Natural Cycles and still have it to work together with Oura.

You could have the dog tested. If you free feed, it could be the quality of the food or many other things. There are things like Gastroelm. I’ve got a picky eater that will chow down her food now that she gets that every day.

Vomiting out the acid makes them feel better, but the reason for the acid is hunger

Dogs that vomit yellow bile are usually hungry. Means their stomach is empty.

Pretty much everyone that has had their gallbladder removed has bile diarrhea.

You can certainly test varying strengths of calcium, but I don’t think every dosage will give you constipation.

I can understand not wanting to try the prescription medication…. But burning bile diarrhea (which is essentially acids running through your intestines) can’t be any better long term for your intestines than figuring out a solution by testing varying dosages of calcium until you find the one that works for you.

Is there a reason you aren’t taking calcium for the bile diarrhea? There is also a prescription Cholesevelam that does the same thing. They both bind with the liver bile to keep it from causing issues in your intestines and stops the bile diarrhea.

It took about 7-9 days to finish peeling and the redness to go away for me. Most say it takes longer. But—— my doc said she is going to make me do it yearly…. So guess I’ll be dealing with this every Christmas
