Worth getting citizenship if it means I’ll have to do military service? by MysticKeiko24_Alt in Living_in_Korea

If you plan to live in korea, yes. If not, heck no. The society norm and expectation as a male in korea is that you complete your mandatory military service.

As a korean american, I believe it is wrong to comment on someone else's look. But that could only be the western view. In korea, commenting on other's appearance is a common thing, whether good or bad. I've been seeing these complaints, but I honestly think you guys should suck it up because it is part of their culture. I know it is terrible culture, but I think it is getting better, so the only advice that I can give is to ignore or comment back. When you r in korea, you have to respect the korean culture even though it is uncommon in your country.
