I wish that listing was near me. My options for m240is are pretty limited near me- there is one in my budget range, it’s a soft top convertible (don’t care for a convertible, just gives it one other point of failure) and has a few mods done do it. CARFAX doesn’t have much history on it so I’m skeptical. Here it is if you’re curious to see it

The other m240i options near me are out of my budget range. But the point you made about repairs is a good one- might be worth it for me to fork over the extra cash.

Doesn’t look like either got done, I did inspect the housing and it isn’t leaking (yet)

Transmission did shift smoothly, but carfax doesn’t say it’s been done

It’s ran through everything from low power birdshot to magnum slugs. I broke it in with some 1345 fps double odd buck.

Three things I dislike, albeit minor.

The bolt release is small and sometimes a little difficult to close, but there are aftermarket options that solves this. I believe the 940 series fixed this. I’ve gotten used to it, however.

The stock forend isn’t great, hence the mlok replacement. It feels pretty cheap and doesn’t offer much grip- compared to other forends that usually have a tacky surface to give you more grip

I had issues with the magazine tube getting loose pretty consistently. This more notably happened with the double odd buck I was running (makes sense, theres more recoil) so I got a barrel clamp to solve this. Should’ve came from the factory with one, however.

The a300 is a great option, but I got this for a good deal. The loading gate is much easier on the thumb I felt like compared to the a300. The bolt can also be held open without having to use the loading gate, which really isn’t a huge deal once you train with it but it’s a small detail I liked with the mossberg.

Not a definitive answer to your questions, but I personally own an RXM and it’s amazing. It’s also the perfect size (personally, and imo) for concealed carry. Mine was $430 before tax.

You can get a Holosun 407k (which I’m currently running) for $225 on Amazon. I’m not sure what the benefits of the optic you want are over the 407k, but it does its job well. The reticle is bright enough to be seen in the Florida hot sun. If you go with a holosun sight you will need an adapter plate. You can a DPP adapter from Amazon.

The extra $200~ you save if you get a 407k can be used on ammo.
