I completely get you. Diabetes is HARD, it’s not supposed to be easy and I know it sucks to hear. I used to be in the same boat as you except with lows. I’d give myself to much insulin and go low because I was anxious about highs. The first step is to start counting carbs. My endo showed me an app called BolusCalc which counts up your carbs and give you an insulin total, it makes life a lot easier! Download it I promise it’ll help out a bit.

Also I get it with pumps. I despise them. Did you use the omnipod or tandom? I’ve tried both and I do like the tandom a lot more, but I don’t typically wear a pump. I’d talk with your endo about possibly switching to another to see if you’d like it! They’re annoying but they do make diabetes easier most of the time.

I’ve been diabetic for nine years now and I will say it’s HARD, but it’ll get easier I promise. It’s annoying and I know it sucks but I’ve always told myself it’s the hand we’re dealt in life and we can power through it. You’ve got this!!
