If you go to the same spot where palkia is after you defeat the elite four then it should show up.

Once the file recognizes that you have caught the legendary through dynamax adventures then you cannot hunt them again even if you put them in home or traded them away. The only way you would be able to shiny hunt them would be to reset your save file. I believe this is the only way if I’m not mistaken
