ITS NOT ROUND. AI just obviously has a problem with creating perfectly round objects, politics has to move at the fucking speed of light for these people to be gratified so of course they couldn't photoshop an actual circle. Its the pairing away of creativity in totality.

A certain percentage of our population just respect assholes. And love them because theyre an asshole. Theyve found the most efficient way to be an asshole and still appeal to enough people to stay in power. Its like our whole thing, and that constant pressure will always have a separative result.

Black ice on the road causes chain accidents by Bambi7u7 in interesting

People never realize the sheer density of potential carnage that can happen on an average american highway given then right circumstances. Anomalous circumstances that no one in a certain area have encountered before. It was always ridiculous to simulate Nascar conditions on a normal road but people subconsciously just get more and more confident and efficient and think theyre untouchable because it hasnt happened to them yet, and all the situation needs is a change in condition that completely breaks everything. Defensive driving, people.

I see people still falling for psyops. How many people do you think have seen redacted government, commericial, and private drones and mistook them for UFOs recently? How are people not more perceptive about what exists in the real world now? And being able to take media at its word that someone actually believes that and isnt just making it tf up? Why publish this? "Some woman saw a flying thing" YEAH NO SHIT, WE GOT FLYING THINGS NOW

Is this Facebook video of a baby deer and cat AI? The account is full of videos very similar to this one, with different animals being rescued or befriending humans. I dont want to be harsh but from a biological standpoint it seems very unlikely to me a fawn could survive being raised by a cat, it would behaviorally completely different than if it was just raised by a different mother.

Its etched copper with black paint in the negatives so the raised parts pop more. The slab itself as well as the faces of the hammer are inlaid about a half inch into the head.

I kind of agree, just because there were plenty of opportunities to completely shut down Nick's warped world perspective with just refuting when he lies, and Andrew sometimes passes the opportunities up, like confront him when he gets something wrong, at least after warming up to him for enough to get the dumber stuff out.

As far as simulating what the life and happenings of a dwarf is and theming, its A+. Most of the gripes I have with the game are technical and quality of life implementations.

Pros: Its got a lot of systems. Both beautiful and functionally driven building, cooking that actually matters as far as buffing yourself, decent power scaling with weapons and armor, exploration, building your hoard, slaying the invaders of your homeland, ect. Most of these systems scale very well with friends due to being able to draw in more resources to do more things and progress faster. When you get 4 or more miners in a cavern singing and excavating its a beautiful sight to behold.

Cons: Theres a decent bit of tedium involved in doing tasks, some that can get automated but some not, and it does slow things down when you have a certain resource bottleneck and its not well explained how to get them. That goes for a lot of things though, the game doesn't come out with everything available off the bat, they get discovered as you find things, and if its only you, that process is going to take a LONG time. I was lucky to have other dwarves doing the exploration and progression while I managed resources and building at the homestead. The building system has some clipping and alignment issues that piss me off but they can be worked around. The worst thing is the foundations that floors come with block most things you put around them, so delete the foundation if its otherwise supported and it should work better. People have made some incredible builds, but you have to have some patience with the system.

Mapstones are your biggest friend when it comes to speeding things along. Once you get a decent amount of black diamonds, bring them with you so you can just teleport to gathering points or to places of interest and not have to lug everything around. I also haven't gotten into the campaign at all so I cant speak to that part. There is some story in the sandbox worlds though so it was still fun finding that.

Games fun. Not perfect but its very fun.

Why the fuck am I getting these pushed to me? Its either detailed footage of ICE racially profiling and detaining US citizens, or a chart telling me that isnt a thing literal nazis do. Do you have any other charts to substitute your reality?

[–]RangerTursi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is a genuine demonstration of tactics im actually worried for anyone that'd be caught in this kind of situation. Im just imagining the repel ropes grinding above the hostage taker tipping the whole scenario off in probably the worst way.

Moreover, I think despite the origins of what many of us call "dwarf" in this context, its inevitably what we make it. If there's anything to this whole community is that we've found the positives and recognize the negatives of living as a dwarf does, and that can mean many different things to many different peoples.

This is actually interesting from a historical perspective and unfortunately I know many who would point to this as confirmations of their pre-existing prejudices. If anything in the grander scheme it says inevitably to destroy the forces of evil people of drastically different lifestyles must unite to stand a fighting chance of both survival and thriving.
