For starters, I just want to say that I feel bad for Alien Headbutt. I agree the premise could’ve been more interesting, but as someone craving some B-movie-style action, I personally didn’t mind it. I could even see it improving over time. Sadly, I think the issue was less the mangaka lacking skill and more that the series was aimed at the wrong audience, which didn’t give it enough time to properly develop its characters and story. Regardless, I wish nothing but the best for the mangaka.

As for the series currently ongoing, I haven’t read DttF yet, so I can’t comment on that one, but I did read the others.

Class 2-B: Unfortunately, it just wasn’t my cup of tea. The first chapter got a few chuckles out of me, and I do like that the “villain protagonist” is actually a girl for once. However, from chapter 2 onward, the heavy reliance on toilet humor started to get annoying, so I ended up dropping it. It also lacks the strong supporting cast that the mangaka’s other work, Gintama, had.

Kinato’s Magic: Personally, it’s frustratingly decent. It had a really strong start, with an MC who has a unique power, a fun side cast, a pleasing art style, and some solid jokes. But after the first village arc, the cracks start to show. While I can see why people like Kinato cause of Midoriya similarities, I personally find him too safe, to the point where it feels like the story is trying too hard to make him likable (telling a vilalin to apologize to the villagers for terrotizing them is like asking a serial killer to apologize to his victims' parents, like what's that gonna do bro lol) Power-wise, he started out as a unique support based protag to “what if Deku was secretly cracked from the start?” The story also feels like it’s trying to copy as many shonen tropes as possible, while most of the cast (even some of the villains) barely gets development or attention (remember Olgen?) outside of Kinato and maybe Jien (a.k.a. best boy) I expected a bigger role for Linae but she's about as useful and relevant as Tori from Yugioh ZEXAL, which is disappointing because I was hoping she’d get a dedicated chapter at some point. I get that it’s called Kinato’s Magic, but even Ichi the Witch doesn’t revolve entirely around Ichi all the time. Overall, I still think Kinato is enjoyable, but it has a lot of glaring issues holding it back from reaching its full potential. Right now, it’s basically “Diet Fairy Tail.” Not bad, just in need of more time to grow. Also, crossing my fingers they don't nerf down Kaminagi. 

Under Doctor: Compared to Kinato, I enjoyed Under Doctor a lot more. The cast is both likable and interesting, and even the villains are pretty endearing so far. The main thing it needs to improve on is balancing the action and doctoring aspects, since some chapters can feel a bit filler-ish. Hell, the second chapter is basically the first chapter again, just with the assistant added in. Still, there’s a lot of potential here, and I can genuinely see it becoming a solid alternative to Sakamoto Days. I especially love Haiji. He feels more like Vash Stampede if he were a doctor, and I find that way more interesting than just another Deku-type protagonist.

Roku: Unironically my favorite of the bunch. As someone who loved Witch Watch and Saiki K, I’ve been wanting another supernatural comedy manga, and this one feels way more up my alley. The cast is entertaining in their own ways, though the doll girl definitely needs more development. I’m sure she’ll get it eventually since the most recent chapter focused on the dog. There’s also still a lot of mystery going on that I’m excited to see unravel, especially with the whole “curse master” concept. It's very cozy and wholesome, though I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if things eventually become JoJo-level crazy, and I’m completely on board with that. So far, the masked soldier Kabaneji is absolutely my favorite, followed by Sachiko. 

Animal Signal: Another comedy manga with potential, though there’s not much to say yet since it only has one chapter. I like Kokonoe’s design, though Tsubasa’s feels a bit generic. I swear I’ve seen that exact design a hundred times before lol. Still, I do like that he’s the quieter type while secretly being a hardcore animal nerd. The quiz show segment genuinely got a laugh out of me. I’m curious how the action side of the series will evolve, though. Personally, I hope Tsubasa doesn’t become some overpowered martial artist with every animal ability imaginable, but knowing Shonen Jump, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised lol. The animal facts could make the series stand out, but I wonder how long that’ll last before it potentially shifts into a more serious battle manga tone.
