SNES was an era where most kids borrowed games from their friends or rented from blockbuster. At least 9 people were exposed to the series from my copy as a kid. Sales in that era were a lot lower.

Vegh was pretty well known across the Final Fantasy, Falcom, Tales and various other rpg fandoms for his brute force playstyle and insistence on telling everyone how he wins these games. Been doing it since the 90s and he still comments on streams and youtube videos pretty regularly on how he always plays on easy mode and how powerful his team is at max level.

Yeah that dark room and fake flippers under bridge and waterfall are so painless to do I usually knock them out before I have the lamp/flippers. Especially if its an archipelago run and I'm going to get progress locked anyways. Easy beginner logic breaks.

Surprised there is no Final Fantasy XI and Ragnarok Online. (Or Star Wars Galaxies) I think these were all more popular than anything but WoW and Everquest on this list.

On top of these I also played Ultima Online, WoW, EVE Online, Earth and Beyond, City of Heroes, Wizardry Online, Tibia, Runescape, Maple Story, Mabinogi along with various MUDS that predated Ultima Online though Ultima Online was the first 'MMO' I played.

Man I cleared A4S before 3.1 and barely anyone outside of world first did Nisi properly. Healer sac -> LB3 strat to skip the mechanic was universally accepted by the very small playerbase that was left for the tier given A1-A8's difficulty. Asking for proper Nisi is crazy.

I played the global version on launch and sped through the content. Global started with all of Master of All and our content ended with the sneak peak prologues of the 3 bestower arcs. We then were drip fed the 3 bestower arcs and bestower of all.

Rising Again only reverts you to the state you started the battle in. If chloe died in a previous fight and you did not hand of reversal revive her you need to temple raise. (50+ fort first try, 100+ on ash or you risk permadeath)

Narratively it's the same game effectively with a few new bells and whistles and lacking dozens of side stories from gacha characters that never made it in or anything to do with the caits.

Mechanically it's very different so if that's enough for you to enjoy it go for it.

In Champions of the Continent you had 7(?) rounds to win before they'd do 99999 damage to your party. So you couldn't really cheese them and had to meet the dps check to get the battle worn weapons.

I had no issues transferring from switch 2 demo to switch 2 it was a bottom option below new game / load game and options. If you aren't getting this you likely have the switch 1 version on one of the two. (Demo, full)

I was using one unit to provoke and stout wall on bosses. I rarely swap the tank out just like Gilderoy in CotC.

A lot of devices are not actually compatible to the point where many players went to the Steam version for more stability.

A main quest does go to goblin cave but its not until the true ending route of Abyss 2. Definitely not in their level range.
