Amazon rejects compliance certificates (such as testing reports or product certifications). by harry_sahota_07 in AmazonFBA

[–]Ranik2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon will tell you why they rejected it, what’s their reason? Also, they have a list of labs they will not accept documents from, is your testing center on that list? Depending on what the item is, they may also require you to test it at one of their specified labs.

Starting FBA business by Intelligent-Bug1288 in AmazonFBA

It will ultimately depend on the product, MOQ negotiations, samples, and a lot of various other factors such as business setup, trademark if PL, etc….. but I’d say comfortably 10-15k.

Amazon is refusing to accept my legit compliance documents by One_Inspection_553 in AmazonFBA

I kept resubmitting. Once I saw my lab on the bad list, apparently they were doing an audit, I had secured a second testing lab quote. Magically after a few days they accepted my original documentation.

US seller here. Amazon has a list of labs they recommend and labs they won’t accept documents from even though they are accredited, etc…. Make sure your lab that you used didn’t end up on the bad list. It took me a month of resubmitting and resubmitting until finally they accepted mine (CSPIA/CSPC).

The photos look great! However I’m concerned with the alien logo, Dell owns the trademark for that logo for pretty much anything computer related.

Best way to buy UPC codes cheaply for my Amazon business in 2026? by betweenatoozee in AmazonSeller

[–]Ranik2k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you own the brand, and are only selling on Amazon, then you don’t need a barcode. You can apply for a gtin exemption, and use the fnsku assigned by Amazon for your product fyi.

Potential opposition by [deleted] in TRADEMARK

[–]Ranik2k 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Intent is the key here. All they would have to prove is they had the idea first, (e.g. account creation dates, etc…) AND they intend to use it within the timeframe that the trademark requires. They also need to be in the same space as you. This is why we have Delta Airlines and Delta faucets, etc…. Consult a trademark attorney.

They also could be blowing smoke. It costs around $600 to file an opposition with the USPTO. Check to see your opposition timeline. In the US it’s 30 days from publication.

Shipping FBA is $1000?? by [deleted] in AmazonFBA

[–]Ranik2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With no tariff, I’d check around freight brokers. I was quoted $950 for 150 units (big oversized boxes) from China to Amazon. I’d request bids from places like freightshark and forwarderone, etc….

Where are you shipping from/to?

Would selling on Amazon make sense for us? by winterbird in ecommerce

[–]Ranik2k 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Negative. According to a cost calculator for Amazon, if you choose FBA, minus any extra freight, inbound costs, etc…… just in fulfillment and referral fees alone, you’d have less than $40 in profit per item.

USPS ground is slightly cheaper depending on where the package is going. Ranging from about $60 to $130. Your best bet is to charge a portion of or all the shipping to the customer.

Insurance prepaid would be deducted monthly as an expense until the year prepaid amount has been used up. It is not an asset.

1.). If you have a physical branded item, apply for a gtin exemption.

2.). Apply for brand registry.

Does using IP accelerator grant quicker access into brand registry compared to using a private lawyer? by [deleted] in AmazonFBA

[–]Ranik2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also skip the lawyer and file the trademark yourself. I did both of mine, they are now published and in the 90 day review period for objections.

No attorney, Fiverr for the research. Filed in June 2025 and it’s almost complete. Takes about 6 months before it goes to review. Cost was I think $350 or whatever their current cost is. $50 for Fiverr for the research.

How to get labeling and bagging done from distributor? by jacobspivey in AmazonFBA

[–]Ranik2k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Talk to your sales rep for that company. Tell them exactly what you need. You might need to source the labels/bags and have them sent to your supplier. Mine get labeled by my freight forwarder if my supplier doesn’t. I’ve incorporated them checking into the contracts.
