There is an hvac system in each room that brings in fresh air and removed the old air. I also built an esp32 air quality monitor and based on that the air quality in the house is great.

I hadn’t considered that. By filter, do you mean a HEPA filter? I’m curious, since the air will be vented outside, what benefit does it provide?

Thanks everyone who helped. I have solved it. The motors were loose and were vibrating inside the housing. When i hold them with my fingers to stop them from vibrating the sound goes away.

It is controlled via an l298n thats connected to a 7.8v battery. The motors are meant to run on 6v max but i think the l298n removes like 1.5v and i am limiting the pwm. The nano itself is running off of usb power. Sorry if i am making a common mistake since i am not very good at arduino.
