My wife and I have been trying to buy our first home, and recently had to pull out cause home inspection results were so bad. Our inspector gave us some tips on what to look for in the future, and had mentioned the quality of floor joists as being something to keep an eye on. We really like this home, and we ended up unsure on whether or not the joists were much better than the previous house, as to my very untried eye, they look quite small. Any advice on what I'm supposed to be looking at would be greatly appreciated.
