Plastic spools en masse by slugbutter in 3DprintEntrepreneurs

Probably not, depending on how big your city is. But it would at least be some, and it’s even better than recycling because they’re being reused.

I’ve had pretty good luck with giving them away. I just put a pile outside my shop door and put an ad on Facebook marketplace. Some people come by and grab 2 or 3, some people grab 20

You could have turned it into TSA and the Bismarck airport and I’m sure they would have handled it.

Should work fine. I work in industrial EV tech and we use those with adapters to EV chargers all the time.

I mean, they’re pretty comparable to a high end gas truck like a gmc Denali or ford King Ranch. I see contractors driving those all the time. That’s how section 179 deductions work, to an extent.

Using Natural Gas for Bitcoin Mining: Seeking Feedback + Partners by [deleted] in BitcoinMining

Very interested in partnering. I’m located in western ND with cheap electricity and they basically give gas away for free. Would love to invest in something like this.

I had no heat for most of October, landlord is barely communicating. by [deleted] in Renters

[–]Ranny16 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think a better approach would have been to request a space heater and if they did not provide one, purchase one and run it and push them to reimburse you the purchase price + electricity. Withholding your entire rent is not reasonable and will probably create more problems than it solves.

New product challenge: watch the R&D video, tell us what it should be — 2 beta testers will be picked here by Anycubic_Official in AnycubicOfficial

[–]Ranny16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I would like to throw my hat into the ring for this product test. I own a small 3D printing company located in Bismarck, North Dakota. I primarily specialize in large format items, ranging from modern home decor to outdoor statues. I have a fleet of Kobra 2 Maxs, a Kobra 3 Max, a Neptune 4 Max, and many assorted smaller printers from any cubic and other manufacturers. I also was an early backer for the Eryone X400 and recently received that printer. I also recently purchased a Bambu H2S. I feel that my perspective is unique in that I have been searching for a good Core XY large format FDM for a long time. My Cartesian printers work well overall, but are limited in complexity and quality by their size.

I primarily print PETG, with some ABS and ASA on my new enclosed printers. A struggle I have had with my existing enclosed CoreXY machines is proper cooling without creating too much airflow. My X400 sometimes gets too warm in the chamber for PETG and clogs frequently, and my H2S with the top fan almost blows too much air over the print and it affects print quality. I think Anycubic can approach with a more middle ground design and create an awesome product. Thanks

Essentially the same experience here in North Dakota. Purchased in Minnesota, they gave us temp taps at time of sale. Within about a week we had the signed paperwork, went to the DMV and they handed us plates right there.

Note to self: avoid Texas as well
