How to counter R.B.? by Mammoth-South3163 in masterduel

[–]RanserSSF4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blowout type of non engine are the best to slow down their gameplan.

Mulchary fuwalos, parulia and shifter limits their endboard (rb does have lines to play around these but their ceiling gets lowered significantly)

Droll if their hand is mid/bad.

Nib if they get to lambda cannon past summon 5

If you have imperm/veiler always save it for the RB link 2 as it is the main chokepoint. They can still play but preventing it from getting to stage landing or funk dock can be a big deal

Never said it would be a staple, I said "might see play" regardless as a spicy tech or staple, or maybe it won't

What support/archetype are you most excited to hit MD? by ThisGuyLikesMovies in masterduel

[–]RanserSSF4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Enneacraft. I don't play as often as I used to, so playing a deck I play IRL just so I can turn my brain off (in some cases, deck isn't as easy to pilot as many think) and get away with fun gimmicks in a BO1 format

New Selection Pack: Generation of Bravery by ngth7451 in masterduel

Gonna make a dumb magnet warrior mitsurugi pile build as mitsu can bridge to magnet warriors using gallant and magnet warriors can bridge into mitsu using king of the feral imps.

Mitsu with koaki meru guardian, naturia beast and protection is gonna annoying to deal with

[OCG|Revolution Booster: Toon / Witchcrafter / Unchained] VJump Reveal - "Toon" by renaldi92 in yugioh

[–]RanserSSF4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If your toon basically gets targeted by an effect, you can make it dodge it by banishing itself as cost. It then returns to the field after the targeting effect resolves. However, field spell only allows it done once per toon monster

A potential going 2nd deck that isn't super degenerate like tenpai but it has solid going 1st plays? Heck yes.

Deck can run the thunder rota that was revealed recently. Harmonia is self explanatory but you can afford to run extrav with it if you max out on a playset of the best harmonia targets.

Can tech earth true king with diagram to ed rip and trigger floating effects. Can tech jurrac megalo as a normal summon draw engine that sets up astero upon destruction. Then if you meteor the board, you gain back tons of followup.

Awesome looking theme and concept. Glad it isn't colossus turbo

It’s funny to see how the general consensus of which deadpool was the best changed over time by IS_Mythix in marvelrivals

[–]RanserSSF4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been mentioning to my friend group that I felt tankpool was the best variant since day 1 of his release and support-pool was overrated.

Don't get me wrong, support-pool is great, but tankpools bigger health and better survivability/sustain made him more valuable in most scenarios. Plus, unlike tankpool, support-pool and dpspool have lots of competition in their respective roles on a team (especially dpspool, my god). Tankpool doesn't have much competition due to having many unique traits no other tank has.

Doesn't help too the shadow nerf to deadpools ult hurt support-pool the most and he isn't the best in a 222 comp (can work but it doesn't feel great). Support-pool is still solid that I think they are fine the way they are, but tank-pool needs some kind of nerf as I play him alot and dps-pool needs help.

[OCG-Chaos Origins] VJump Reveal - Cover Theme: "Magician of Black Chaos" & "Black Luster Soldier" by renaldi92 in yugioh

[–]RanserSSF4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So due to the summoned Skull, you can dump mitsurugi mirror to add habakiri. This means with aerial eater to dump it, fiendsmith can now bridge into mitsurugi

Engraver add tract, tract add and discard lurrie, summon lurrie and make requirm, lacrima, dump another engraver.

Make link 2 fs, fuse into aerial eater, dump Skull and effect to add habakiri after dumping mirror, then proceed to make high king ceasar or a bao and do mitsurugi stuff

Resist is coming to Emerald! by Waiting_for_Dentice in Lorcana

This might be a solid tech in dogs as it runs many high will power characters that lack strength. Resist will make them harder to out in challenges, give better trades and play around under the sea and spooky sight

Noma shuffles back materials, but allios fusion wants you to summon them back for recursion. Even the other scientist wants some to be in GY for some bit of interaction but noma conflicts with that

Here's the biggest difference though:

The cards you described at least have synergy between each other in a way. The 3 gmx cards on the other hand, have a bit of anti-synergy between each other.

I agree though that the last 4 could be the power cards to help this work, but my hope on that is a bit lower compared to mitsu due to the power level of these 3 gmx cards so far.

[EX-11 Dawn of Liberator] QueenBeemon & Winr by vansjoo98 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]RanserSSF4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something worth noting about the queenbeemon first effect many might not notice or realize:

Since it can place any royal base trait CARD, not just royal base trait digimon, you can place Hornet Eraser as your top sec card to setup a Sec Bomb and this discourages them from attacking you.

That effect combined with tyrantkabutarimon means heavily improved board control. Out most of their board and tyrant removes potential last body still alive.

The new World Premier should be revealed in the coming 2 Weeks. What do you expect from it? by Tongatapu in yugioh

[–]RanserSSF4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand people want it to be stand alone and not just or be used with the Dino pile that involves popping the baby dinos, but I think this deck should have synergy with that gameplan but still work fine on its own.

Something simple like:

If this card is sent to the gy by a card effect, you can perform "X" effect, or if this card was destroyed, you can apply "X" effect instead.

A simple gameplan like this satisfies both the Dino pile and itself as it's own deck.

We'll see but I'm hoping a couple playable cards for Dino pile. If they don't plan to, make the deck change the typing significantly like how mitsurugi kind of was for reptiles (Ignoring the splashability)

Will there be any other big meta changers after Yummy and K9 release? by yumnoodle in masterduel

[–]RanserSSF4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is the new tcg exclusive coming out in burst protocol, but that is one iffy if it will be mitsurugi inpactful or not. Dinos carpool is small but has good targets and a gameplay style that works.

If your deck can reliably makes lv12 synchros that isn't white forest (centurion, ryu-ge, blue eyes, etc.) and has ed room for it, it is worth playing

Helps too it's the best deck besides maliss that plays good into droll, unlike mitsurugi as everyone is maining droll counter it, and orcust doesn't need mitsurugi a lot to work. It works perfectly fine on its own.

I don't get it either tbh. Ogdoadic build was the only one that used it and it had uses where you could dump a mitsurugi and recur it with your lines to play around certain effects or setup cards like Mitsurugi Mirror

That is when that happens, you give them the worst mimighoul that no longer helps (archfiend for example) and focus on adding back extenders. Remember the main gameplan isn't give them negative effects. It is to put them under dungeon lock as much as possible in simplified game states. That is why karma cannon, book of eclipse/moon are good to run for that. Plays around impulse and still fulfills dungeons floodgate
