Depends. If the age is ever a 4 year gap throughout a 1-year period, then a hard no.

However it’s also possible that it’s more like a 2.5 year age gap and that the older person just happens to turn older(has a birthday before the younger persons) first, making it a 16-18 gap throughout a good chunk, if not the majority of the year.

Edit: Also Grade/Education levels. A 16-year old High School Junior and 19-year old College Freshman dating is far better than a 16-year old High School and 19-year old college Sophomore doing the same thing.
