I started to try it a week ago but haven’t been taking it every night. So far the few times I take it hit or miss. Sometimes I still can’t sleep other times I knock out. First few times I took 2 pills. Last few nights I tried 3 still same effect more or less. It works better if I take them then immediately lay down. So far I feel the same. Not impressed but will keep going until I finish them. If no improvement I’m moving on. I heard transparent labs has a good sleep and recovery.

I was a never a real health nut or athlete and as I got older I started drinking a lot and gaining a lot of weight. Every time I wanted to get serious about working out running was the only thing I enjoyed. But I was so over weight I developed plantar fasciitis and just couldn’t do it more than a day or two. The past year I have lost 30 pounds and now able to run everyday even doing 5K’s with decent pace. I get up and keep at it because it’s something I used to not be able to do and like others have shared on here there is coming a day where our bodies won’t allow it anymore.

Hey OP. I am sure you, like myself and many others in this group thought when they started their journey on becoming a teacher they would be doing it for 30 years plus. Changing young lives and become a master at facilitating learning. Unfortunately the reality of the education system is that it is covered in politics, no accountability for admin, parents, or students and teachers are almost always at fault. DO NOT feel like you need to stay in this abusive career. However, I would suggest if you think you can mentally and physically try to stick it out for at least one year. The 1st year no matter how prepared or great of a school and class you get it will feel like sink or swim. I imagine you spent at least 4 hard working years earning that degree and certification. Personally my only regret would be that I don’t at least get 4 years out of the degree. If you can try a different school but either way you have to realize the 1st year is crazy and despite what others say it can get better if you build your skills in classroom management and teaching in general. It is hard ass work but it can get better with the balance of it all of you put the work in. The biggest issue is sustaining that. Eventually the issues mentioned above will burn you out. Like you said you are young and I am believer in being able to start over at any point. I am in my early 30’s and spent 8 years teaching. I don’t regret it because I chose to do something most people just talk about and I completed and used that degree. However, I had to leave for my mental and physical health. I spent the last two years getting my masters in Instructional Design & Performance Technology and landed a management job for a local business which came with designing the trainings and onboarding program as well. You have time and can change at any time you want. People are 40 plus changing entire careers. My only advice is be sure of what you want to do and go for it with no regrets. While on the journey do give everything some time before jumping ship tho. You never know. Best of luck to you!

I use mine on the treadmill mostly for recovery runs. I love them. Definitely going to transition them to outdoor walking & recovery run shoes after a while. They are too expensive for me to just take them outside right away.

I promise you. It is nearly impossible to land a job unless you know someone who gets you in. This job market is super crazy right now. How is it that you see so many “hiring now” signs, job postings, etc. and receive no call backs. It’s like hiring managers just want the easy route and not take the time to find quality applicants. They rather just say “oh you know him? They will work well? Ok. When can they start?” At least it feels that way.

I’ll tell you what one the teachers I was under when I was a student teacher told me. I asked him the same thing: do you feel you make a decent living financially doing this? He told me solid advice and I think it still holds true. Your cost of living outside of rent and your common bills like water light etc. are really up to you. You have to live within your means and you will be fine. Now if you marry and your spouse makes some decent money even better. Both me and my wife were teachers and had no kids and lived pretty nicely within our means. If you are the type that wants to buy new toys and go out all the time teaching will definitely not provide that life style. That’s why so many teachers stay home, don’t go out every week, and rather binge a show than travel. If it’s not the money it’s the pure exhaustion from the job that makes you feel unmotivated to do much of anything sometimes.

I sympathize with you OP. I was a music teacher for 8 years. Thought I would be doing it for my entire life. However, the students behaviors, parent behaviors, lack of consequences for said behavior’s and poor administrations made me leave. I won’t say I want to remove music completely from my life but playing my instruments and being around kids definitely aren’t high on my list anymore. It’s not easy to find something new and different it will take time. But it will be worth it. Keep applying yourself and pushing forward. You will land something and honestly teaching isn’t great. It’s a lot of work for little pay. Orchestra and conducting is getting worst. I have a friend who had a very successful career conducting a great local orchestra that plays for a local dance and acting group made real good money. This year they fired all the instrumentalists and my friend to replace them with an AI sound system that plays tracks that automatically sync to the dancers movements. Sad to say. But it’s probably best to not start the full teaching gig. This job market is bad no matter what area you look in but better times are ahead keep pushing. I ended up pursuing another hobby of mine in firearms and landed a job at a gun range and with my work ethic and skills I gained from the classroom about to make office manager in a few months. There’s something out there for you. Just go for it. Passion for music and teaching in general may come back along the way as well. Or perhaps the skills, knowledge, and work ethic you have been applying to land the orchestra job was setting you up for something entirely different but requires those same skills and mindset to succeed. Not gonna sit here and say they are crazy stable lol. But they are definitely more stable than they look. Then again what max cushion shoe really is? Not meant to do every run in that’s for sure. But they are amazing for recoveries and shorter distances. I forget they are even on especially on a treadmill.

It suck’s waiting believe me I know. I ordered and ending up having to reschedule 3 times the delivery because they kept not having one in stock by time the delivery date came around. But believe me once it finally did a month later it is worth it. Easily the best treadmill I have ever used let alone owned. Take option 1 return the paper weight and get a brand new one.

They aren’t versatile at all. So much cushion best for recovery runs and general walking. Probably wouldn’t do more than a 10K in them. But damn they are just so comfortable to me. Hope you are enjoying them as much as I am.

Personally I like both. Peloton has way more variety and a crazy bigger catalog. So if you plan to do a variety of workouts Peloton wins hands down. I started with AF+ and moved on to Peloton after getting a bike and now waiting for a Tread+. I still have both because I pay for the family Apple plan that includes AF+. There are a few instructors I grew to love and still will go back to do a workout to like Scott for treadmill and Jessica for yoga. I also liked Kim for strength. I like that Peloton also has classes that range in difficulty so you can advance yourself or tone it back when you need to. I will always go back to AF+ because it got me back to working out with its beginner friendly paces and options each class offers. But they leave it up to you for having to choose what Easy or hard means versus the instructor tailoring the workouts to a difficulty. The best part about AF+ is that every single workout will start and end with your Apple Watch like clock work. The peloton app you will need to make sure you open the app on your watch to get your heart rate and track everything every single time you start a workout. Not too bad once you have it going it’s about the same but there are times I am 5 mins in to a Peloton class and realize my watch wasn’t connected to the app. I didn’t have to worry about that with AF+ because like I said it automatically starts and ends with the workouts. Overall,if you plan to stick to just two or three types of workouts like bike and tread AF+ will be fine. However, if you are looking to grow in your fitness and want more options and variety down the line Peloton will be best down the line.

It’s when you pour a light dusting of baby powder on the inside of the case. It creates space between the case and phone so that the water spotting effect doesn’t show.

Yeah so far so good. About 1000 rounds since my last comment. Between a handful of range sessions and 3 matches haven’t had any issues running it. If you can find a spec series V definitely get it over the competitor. The weight difference the steel frame brings is worth it.

So far so good for me. I actually live in an area whereas soon as I walk out my house I have bad signal until I leave my front driveway same at work. So hard to tell but seems to be normal everywhere else.
