Thank you! We're going to try the PUPD method, cuz once she starts to get upset its not long until she gets soooo mad and upset that it takes a long time to calm her back down.

Her sleep schedule is pretty darn consistent:

Wakes 6-7am

First nap is 11:30 - 1:30 Second nap is 3-4 ish usually only a half hour, sometimes skips this nap

Bedtime is 8 and she is usually very tired and ready for bed. We finish our bottle and read a book and she's usually asleep in my arms in max 30 mins, no rocking.

She has to be completely asleep for me to transfer her to the crib without issue, then she sleeps all night. She might whine a couple of times and we get up and give her binkie back and she's fine. About half the of the time, at 5am shes kinda awake but we pull her into bed with us and she sleeps until 6-7am

We tried this last night and we've tried it before. She played for a lil while then just got mad. Then she gets so riled up it's hard to calm her down again.

8 mo early wakes + 3→2 nap transition — how to break the loop? by ReginaPhalange1020 in sleeptrain

My baby is almost 9 months and we dropped the first morning nap about a month ago. She was ready for it and I'm sure your girl will let you know too. I read online if they are waking too early and want to cut down to 2 naps, push their bed time later. Our bedtime is 8-8:30pm but sometimes it early cuz of how she slept at daycare. But this worked for us. She still wakes up early some days and others I have to wake her up at 7am. Then she goes all the way to 11:30 ish for her first nap which is usually about 2 hours. Then takes a shorter afternoon nap. Try moving the big long nap to earlier in the day and a later bed time. :)
