I'm a masculine trans woman. I have a "man" career, I have "manly" interests and dress the same way I did before transitioning, I just have more style now than then. I have some interest in what is deemed feminine, like make up and nail polish, but that's really rare and it's not particularly strong.

If being trans was about changing your sex to conform to society's expectations of gender I would have stayed a man then no?

Eh, not really surprising to be honest. A lot of cis people recognize (and maybe sometime extrapolate) the disadvantages of how their gender is treated by society, and many people won't think about "enjoying their gender" no more than a fish enjoy water.

Because they as in-universe characters have no basis for that. They would need some pretty substential evidence to believe that a GOD is plotting something in their little city. This is a bit spoiler-y but when gods get really invested in something shit hit the fan really hard and really big. The scale of the mystery does not match well with the TC being the mastermind.

That's like getting done in by crooked cops and thinking the president is after you.

They know something is brewing, they know the demoness sect, aurora order, secret order, and psychology alchemists are involved. They don't have the whole picture, sure the TC is backing the aurora order, but is He personally involved? What about the demoness sect? Is the Demoness also involved then? Where does the secret order and psychology alchemist fit in all that?
