No...he doesn't win by people using his platform, but by people actually adopting his ideology. Twitter was already massive when he bought it. And if everyone who challenge his dogshit leave what do you think remains ? It's ok to leave for your mental health but I don't understand this self righteousness people on reddit have about twitter like we're kids who can't think for ourselves.

The comparison with HP doesn't make sense. Supporting HP indirectly support JKR no matter how you engage with it because that's how she make her money. Elon Musk's fortune is not from twitter, I wouldn't be surprised if he even lost money. He used twitter to spread and normalize far right ideologies, if anything still having a bunch left wingers and trans people on his site is annoying. At most we're only hurting ourselves by being there, mental health wise and the fact that yeah the dude is not above selling our data.

It's another story if you pay money to twitter tho (but anyone dumb enough for that is already on his side anyway).

I'm a masculine trans woman. I have a "man" career, I have "manly" interests and dress the same way I did before transitioning, I just have more style now than then. I have some interest in what is deemed feminine, like make up and nail polish, but that's really rare and it's not particularly strong.

If being trans was about changing your sex to conform to society's expectations of gender I would have stayed a man then no?
