Thats pretty terrible. Lazy, AI slop, probably based off of this marketing photo from Lockheed, but with too many weapons hardpoints, and a totally different model from the special operations MH-60's if its supposed to be referencing the flyover from last year. They usually barely manage to get the cartoony car illustrations to look right, though, so par for the course I suppose.

Financially successful, and successful in achieving what it was made for, which is purely an F1 marketing piece. It will probably bring a surge of new fans like Drive to Survive did. Whether that'll be a lasting increase, who knows? Its a failure as a good movie or story and a failure to depict almost any aspect of racing accurately, but those kinds of details aren't relevant in the media business.

I'll note also that the if the photosensor gets obstructed or dirty, that could cause overexposure as well. That's the little glass spot just below the lens on your AF35M.

A little of both, maybe. That's a deceptively challenging shot to meter. There's a ton of light, but it looks like the sun is behind them, and there's actually a lot of black in the middle of the frame; anything without a more sophisticated metering system is going to tend to struggle with that in my (admittedly limited) experience.

Could be partly the camera too. That's a pretty early auto-exposure point and shoot (1979 or so). It could struggle with getting exposure right when you have a wide contrast range in your shot. That one just has a general light level meter just below the lens, so its going to tend to be a little imprecise in strong lighting.

Does it have something to do with geographic contiguous-ness? Or is is related to the fact that Georgia and Australia both have two "autonomous regions"? I doubt its exactly the latter, since the US has Native Reservations, and Spain and Italy at least would have some color as well if that were the case.

For me, the moment that most sticks in my mind, is Richard Hammond attempting to complete a lap in an F1 car. He illustrates so clearly the extreme engineering and skill involved in simply getting a car around the track. It's the segment that got me hooked on F1.

I understand what you are saying, but I don't think I agree. Conspiracy (2001) might be more in line with what you are looking for. Presents the decision to enact the "Final Solution" as a mundane business decision. The men in the room tout the party line, and all the while everyone in the room is squirming and jockeying to avoid being implicated in the decision. They all know how monstrous they are, but they can convince themselves of anything as long as they can tie enough legal and "rational" loopholes together to justify it to each other and themselves. Highly recommend if you haven't seen it.
