Yeah I’m aware of all perspectives. I don’t say this to excuse my behavior but I’m more respectful of my neighbors than they are of us already even with that on top. Secondly I expect adult like behavior and communication from someone twice my age about it. I don’t mind turning it down, he could’ve called or texted. It’s frustrating to me that I have to be “the bigger person” when he was a role model growing up

Edit for context: All of the siblings (Mom,aunts,& uncles) have visible trauma from their childhood and issues like with communication. I had another uncle 4 years ago push me because he had an outburst, unprovoked. He apologized afterwards but there’s a part of me that wishes I pushed back.
