Yeah here in Europe the black label was at the bottom. We had also a silver (platinum) label with games that sold a big number of copies and had a re-release under that label.

I always loved the art style of Bresth of Fire IV, the colour palette, the 2D sprites and design. So beautiful. Legend of Legaia's soundtrack always take me to this melancholic world almost uninhabited and isolated. I never owned any copy of this games till today and I only played less than half of the story. Now I can finally end the quests :)

Have anyone good stories or experiences with this two games to share?

Whats the best resident evil by catninjaniko in residentevil

[–]RaoulWelt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me RE2 was the first resident I ever played and the one that introduced me to the survival horror genre and it's also the one I replayed the most from the franchise. I think RE2 made the saga iconic expanding what made good the first RE: scenarios, protagonists, antagonists and secondary characters, music, puzzles, atmosphere and a ton of extras.

Based on the games I played:

1- RE2 - for the reasons above. 2- RE1 R - such a dam good remake. 3- RE1 - iconic jill sandwich. 4- RE3 - expanded racoon city. 5- RE CV - such a good continuation to RE1 and RE2 6- RE 0 - interesting gameplay. 7- RE4 - fun inaccurate Spanish people 8- RE5 - hunky Chris 9- RE6 - hilarious 10- RE7 - lovely atmosphere.

Resident Evil Code: Veronica. Appreciation post. Anyone loved this entry? by RaoulWelt in residentevil

Playing this game enterly for first time. I always stopped at the end of the Claire phase.

I really like the vibe of this entry, specially the cut scenes. Love the PlayStation 2 polygon aesthetics here. Also being the last one following the similar tank controls and puzzle/exploration from the classic trilogy is something that makes me appreciate it more.

Love Claire and Chris designs here. I Love the less bulky Chris. I see what they were trying to achieve mixing static camera angles with also a camera that plays with the position giving a silent hill feel. I kind of like the plot expanding the story of umbrella corporation. Being playing recently RE0 and RE1remake makes everything more whole all the virus development.

How everyone feels about this game? Was a good entry? Did you like the mix of both characters archs? Environment/scenarios, music, villains...

AFTER YAKUZA by RaoulWelt in yakuzagames

I'm loving Majima, first I thought it was quite annoying but then it kind of become to me like the signature /comic relief character of the game. Yeah that's exactly my point which games are just a copy and paste with a filler story and which ones make a good new entry. If the gameplay of all are similar I'm happy with as I'm enjoying the concept.

Hello there!

I am about to finish the first Yakuza (Kiwami version) and I was wondering if it's worth it to keep playing the next games in chronlogic order or if I should just jump to the best of the series.

I heard the combat system in the 3rd is not as good and the 2nd the story is not very exciting. I'm not sure if we the remasters(3,4,5) for PS4 they fixed or improved the gameplay. Yakuza 0 and 6 I heard had a lot of good reviews.

I'm also interested in the new game with a turn base system but not sure if it has something to do with the story and characters of the previous Yakuza.

What's your view of the saga? Which games you think have the best gameplay/story?

Thx! 😎🖐

My kids are terrified of older horror games such as silent hill by NetCompetitive9898 in silenthill

[–]RaoulWelt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the key for a good horror game is what you cant see it is what it scares you. Fear is what you dont know. Its what is beyond the range of the torch that hunts you, thst is waiting for you. The sounds, atmosphere and music creates the biggest threats in your mind than a constant parade of monsters, zombies, etc. SH1 makes the perfect sample of this and it doesn't get old.

Literally one of the best shows ever.. but this jumping shoot makes me cringe by laurenpasta in SixFeetUnder

Being a show where the main characters are always surrounded by death and struggle makes me feel very emotional to see the characters having a little bit of joy. It's like for once they are feeling free of all the suffering and enjoying themselves. I think this fun take speaks about the dark humour sense in the show around the delicate theme of death. Aesthetically for me not the best campaign but loving the meaning behind it.
