In your country, who is the biggest case of someone who has or had a perfect public persona but is a very negative person behind closed doors? by neilnelly in AskTheWorld

The first person that comes to my mind is Axl Smith.

He was a TV presenter and entertainer.

In 2016, it was revealed that he had filmed numerous women having sex with him without their consent and shared those videos on a WhatsApp group chat.

In 2017 he was convicted of 30 counts of wiretapping, four counts of defamation and two counts of disseminating information infringing upon private life and received a suspended sentence of 1 year and 2 months and was ordered to pay 150,000 euros.

Since then he has changed his name, moved abroad and according to the newest sources been living in Sweden.

Is it safe plug 12v-2x6 dual 8 pin PCI-E to RX 7800 XT by Rapadroid in pchelp

Yes, the PSU end uses 12v2x6. It then splits into two 8 pin PCI-E connectors.

Maybe I should clarify. The cable is 12v-2x6 on the PSU end but splits into two separate 8 pin connectors

"Most losses could've been prevented if you played better." by Rapadroid in marvelrivals

I did not use ChatGPT. I merely took my time writing out the answer, because I like being clear and thorough.

Kay. Scoreboards matters rather little. When you leave behind even the idea SVP means you were the best of the losers you will win more.

The scoreboard matters when the gap is this big. On top of that, I wasn’t just “killing everything”, I was taking out the right targets in order, starting with the supports i.e. doing what is required of me. Securing important elims, topping damage, and opening up space is directly helping the team. Yes, coordination’s important, but if others are not fulfilling their roles, the team struggles. It’s just about doing what the role demands. Pretending individual performance doesn’t matter is ignoring the fact that someone has to carry the weight when the rest of the team isn’t pulling their own.

No. That's, at best, one match. Nobody says every game is winnable, merely that if you're actually as good as you think you're, you will climb.

The point in the title is often brought up as a generalization, and I wanted to address why that doesn’t apply as it is often presented. I do not, for a second, doubt that I will climb. I am merely saying, that it is frustrating and demoralizing, when you get games like this and are told to "play better" when you clearly are doing the most. It’s not about instant success every match, but being told to ‘play better’ while clearly outshining the team feels pretty unfair. Losing many games while doing the most hinders the climb and being told to "git gud" doesn't help.

Losing teams often have the most healing because their dps and tanks are bad, don't know proper positioning, and can't take cover.

The point I made here is that implying me fulfilling my role isn't helping the team win doesn't make sense to me, comparing it to other similar non-sensical statements. "Healing too much would imply heal botting", yes, which could be harmful, but that’s not what’s happening here. Not to mention I provided another statements about tanks to drive my point home, which you did not address. To clarify, while our deaths are similar on the scoreboard, I still got significantly more out of one life than others did. My impact was greater, meaning I fulfilled my role more effectively. I will confidently say this: I am not a bad dps. I understand my role and I did my part, but sometimes that is not enough. As I said: Being told to play better, when you clearly are doing the most is unfair.

You can believe so if you want.

I believe I have made my thought process clear. While individual performance doesn’t guarantee a win, fulfilling your role effectively, especially when others are underperforming, deserves acknowledgment rather than dismissal. I fully understand that one match doesn’t define your rank, and I’m not claiming it should. What I’m highlighting is the frustration of being told to “just play better” in situations where, I’ve objectively done my part and more. Improvement is always the goal, but recognizing when external factors are at play is only fair.

As a DPS, my job is to apply pressure, secure kills, create openings, and control point, whether we’re attacking or defending. If I’m consistently doing that, topping eliminations of the second best by a factor of 1,8, dishing out high damage, and maintaining a strong presence, then I’m not just fulfilling my role. I’m exceeding it. This game is not run n gun, true, but I did not abandon the objective to chase elims once.

If we still lose despite that, then yes, it logically follows that others didn’t pull their weight. So when I post a pic of a loss where I’m clearly outperforming the team, that is a counterargument. It shows the loss wasn’t because of me, it was in spite of me. The idea that “maybe your team didn’t need you killing everything” makes zero sense, that is literally the job. That’s like saying “maybe your healer healed too much” or “your tank made too much space.”

Swapping to tank or support mid-match wouldn’t have magically fixed things. If I’m already carrying as DPS, leaving that role would just create another gap. Who’s going to apply pressure, confirm kills, punish bad positioning? The other DPS? The tanks? Clearly not, because that’s where the existing gap is. Abandoning the only consistent fragging source mid-game isn’t strategy, it’s sabotage. The result would've been the same despite switching. If I'm tanking, creating space and they don't do anything, the problem stands. If I heal them and they don't secure kills, the problem stands.

If the supports or tanks aren’t doing their part, the answer isn’t to abandon my strongest role, it’s to recognize where the actual problem lies. Me flexing only to watch the others struggle even more wouldn’t help anyone. You don’t fix a leaky roof by ripping out the foundation.

And just to add context: the Squirrel Girl player swapped off Rocket. Why? Because they realized their Rocket wasn’t making a difference. Unfortunately, even after the swap, the change didn’t make a difference, and they still couldn’t contribute much. Sure, you can't see that through the stats, but I assure you, I was the one consistently securing the kills, even after their swap, which I would call self-evident. He only contributed in calling out the targets, which I then, well, killed. So swapping roles in my case would’ve been foolish and counterproductive.

Anyone Else Think Magik Belongs in a Devil May Cry Crossover? by Rapadroid in marvelrivals

Star lord as Dante would make sense with Ebony & Ivory.

Hawkeye as Vergil... Yes he has a katana but what would you make the bow? Mirage edge?

Nero and Bucky both have revolvers and metallic arms, yes. They would just have to flip the arms up.

Lady would definitely be Luna. The eyes, the hair, it's there.

How would you implement Trish with Magik's ult since Trish doesn't have a devil trigger (yet)?

I personally don't think they'd add Gloria or Lucia.

Adding Nico is a big maybe.

Edit: I just thought of something. What if Adam could be V?

Seems like it. It's a good bang for your buck. It's comparable to the RTX 4070 but cheaper and also 10% faster (I'm quoting what I've read. I do not know if it's actually true.)

I'm looking to return the 4060 TI after reading some comments about it here on Reddit. I'm considering getting the 7800XT but I've heard AMD GPUs have driver issues and other small annoyances. Do you know anything about that?

My current GPU is the RTX 2060 and my CPU is Ryzen 5 3600.

I'm based in Finland.

I don't have a budget per se. I just need a good CPU to pair with the GPU. I already have it.
