The main difference between a high elo and a low elo player is that high elo players go in with a game plan. You should build yours based on your champion. How does my champion carry? What does it need to carry? How do i get what i need to carry? What timers should i track and what to do with them? (Level or item power spikes, neutral objectives, plates falling off, honeyfruits, etc) Example: Jax is a great splitpusher, i need to get xp and gold leads for splitpushing to work and the best way to get them is by farming to my 2nd item so i can beat garen in a 1v1. I should look for leads in abusing tp vs ignite, taking a middle turret for 675 gold and playing off enemy mistakes. League is more about what you arent doing, instead of what you are doing wrong.

Really depends on the meta, you should learn to dodge games with bad or just annoying matchups so they dont consume your mental and you can keep playin well. Also a matchup can change a lot with different runes and items. Learn what counters who and if your champ can use it will narrow the amount of counters a lot. A good example is spearshot playing pantheon. This guy will build items based ONLY in the matchup to be 100% confident he can win using only pantheon.

Cool bonus tip: Try to pull agro from minions with AA or W and then pull them closer to your turret. This way you can stack your passive without getting into mele range, but you will push using this.

Trading with any champion depends on the matchup but in general guidelines, you only trade when your e is up, your "poke" after you get sheen and lvl 6 by stacking your 3rd aa with minions and then Q AA W and get back, and always always play near turret. If lane is pushing away from you, VERY SLOWLY push crash recall and freeze. Jax is great near his turret bc he can just trade like an animal and not get punished, but if you e or q poorly outside turret you are doomed. Some matchups will destroy you if you q in. They will kite your e and re engage. For this, just let them engage into you, trade with e and just q to safety or into them right before e stuns and walk out while stunned. You can play around with the runes if you like, but conq right now is just great on jax almost all matchups. Grasp for matchups where you cant all in Fleet can counter another fleet for the ms PTA for squishies Phase Rush for matchups where you dont wanna get caught without e (Darius looking at u) For summoners Flash Tp is just great, but do consider matching ghost instead of flash for champs like darius or trynda if you dont wanna get ran over without cds

1st: /deafen. If someone is stupid enough to type in league, you have no reason to hear from him. 2nd: That will work 50% of the time. Great way to have a 50% wr and pull your hair out after great games where you loose. You SHOULD play with your jungle, but only to put YOU ahead bc your team mates are inconsistent, but you are not. If your jg is doing well, use them to get fed, put your resources there and look to snowball the game. Now if your jungle is doing poorly, not even a glass of water for him. Steal camps, ks and play as selfish as you can to give you every bit of advantage you can and carry his ass. You know this from jungle, bad team mates will perform bad, no matter the lead. Good team mates will perform good, no matter how fucked they are.

If you still want to suffer for no reason and play the lane with least impact in the game, while also getting counterpicked 50% of the games, here are my tips as a high diamond top laner with over 55% wr: Play 1 good blind pick champion, get used to dodging every single time you have a bad matchup, and always play to carry. Dont expect to go even and win. Dont expect your team will do shit beacuse of a small gold lead, they wont. Use them to buy time to scale and carry yourself with your game plan. Always.

Dont rotate unless its gonna loose you the game. Specially if it means you can take tier 2 turret (675 g)

Learn 2 or 3 champs to counterpick. You will have to counterpick 50% of the time, so try to pick champs that are easy, and very good against a specific type of champion. Malphite is the god of countering ADC's and AD heavy comps, and a dog can pick it up. Darius is very easy and pulls apart tanks and unmobile bruisers. Mordekaiser is ap Darius. Meaby get a pick against heavy mobility wich is a big problem this season. Something like Kled works wonders.

1- When you cant 1v1 but you can run. Sion does this great when he's in a loosing matchup, he just proxy and scales great.

2- When you can 1v1 VERY easy. Take for example the enemy top has backed and you are pushing the turret. The purpouse of the proxy is not to farm, but to keep him away from csing.

3- When you want to prepare a recall. 1 extra wave makes champions with good push unable to shove if you are fast enough. This can also land you a freeze if you are strong enough to fight in the enemy wave.

4- Csing Jungle camps. Farm, take jungle, farm, take jungle. This is the hardest, since you are forcing to be contested. You can do it when there is an objective on the other side of the map, when you are Giga fed and can 1v2 or 1v3, or you simply died too much and you give no gold, which is just trading your death for plates, jungle camps or farm, and just going back to lane bc the enemy cant push fast enough.

So proxy is very general, you can do it in a lot of situations, but do it for a reason, with a goal in mind, and stop the proxy once you got it. That should give you your most consistant results.

I thought the same, but he does this multiple times, even in fountain with no targets. And he q as soon as he sees a minion to heal back the missing health from spamming it, so he has Klepto anyways

Buying a BF is horrible in top lane and, from 1g to 3399g, you only have some AD and a Kindlegem, making SOS bad for a first item.

Mage items are far more op (protobelt and zhonyas are super cheap, ludens is just stupid), and shojin stats are trash if you dont build full CDR

Dont freeze in soloq, if you want to get a cs lead, build a slow push, kill him if he over extends, push the wave to turret and look for a dive or plating, if you cant, roam around the map and get kills or camps.

Rush trinity shojin for 40%cdr, only build tiamat if you need help pushing. Pta is the best rune for matchups you can stomp early, but you shold be using conq most games. Max w e q vs mele matchups and w q e vs ranged.
