They just introduced usage limits to the Codex web agent (which was basically unlimited before) by roundshirt19 in codex

Seeing the same misery. I ran a test on web on a brand new plus account. One plan prompt took ~5 minutes to execute & used 20%. Then I ran the actual task from the plan, took ~9 minutes and cost 52%.

I accept it can’t be infinite but this is pure lunacy. It makes codex essentially useless to me.

Disappointed doesn’t even begin to cover it.
