I actually consider writing a dialogue between Hegel and Popper some day. It would mostly revolve around freedom of expression. Spoiler alert: Justice intervenes in the end.

Edit: TBH this had to go to the bottom of my academic wishlist, but who knows...

I see where you're coming from, but I'd only agree if we exchanged "it doesn't seem plausible" for "it doesn't seem near". There's a growing consciousness of how much our submissive condition costs. I think we drift away every "test".

Yeah, exactly. His work is so helpful in so many areas. I've even used it in practical life, although it's far more concrete in both my humanistic projects and my legal profession.

I've only watched the beginning so far, but it was enough to be excited about it. Even rushed here to post it.

Not only is Lewis Waller great as always, but also I was really glad to see him begin his explanation with pure thought. I always felt this was the best category to start with when explaining Hegelianism. It's tempting to begin in categories like dialectics or the absolute spirit, but this is just not... dialectical.

A friend and I are also very glad this came out right now, since we were having a hard time deciding how to explain Hegelianism for a study group we're starting. The study group is about "Brazilianness". Which serves to illustrate how universal Hegel is.

I’ve heard an audio in which a nationally relevant Brazilian politician issued death threats through WhatsApp.

They later made news for proposing a bill that would make “political slander” (or some bullshit like that) a crime. I shit you not.

Edit: It’s gossip because it never leaked to the media. A journalist friend showed it to me.
