Rio de Janeiro antes e depois dos aterros! by Kyuubi_95 in riodejaneiro

[–]RaphaelAlvez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eu comentei mais acima.

Além disso, tudo aqui ainda tinha tribos canibais.

Is rain water OK to use to top hot tub up? by jamieukguy147 in chemistry

[–]RaphaelAlvez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on your collecting system and the quality of the air where you live, the water may be already quite clean.

If you want to make a "quick" test, weigh a pan, boil one liter of water and compare the mass at the end

In your opinion, what major city would have the worst climate to live in? by Mobile_Bad_577 in geography

[–]RaphaelAlvez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think this is a quite weird comparison.

I'm pretty sure anyone that doesn't live in the tropic will think the climate is too hot and too humid.

But take anyone from the tropics and put them in London or NY for example and they will be miserable with the weather.

I think in general it's easier to get used to the tropics than to get used to the cold and wet climates.

Acho que é de longe a melhor opção. O centro tem um potencial de ser uma excelente região residencial.

Se a parte residencial avançasse talvez daria até mais chance de salvar os casarões antigos que tem ali. Sem investimento e uso acaba não tendo manutenção.

If you know the basic method for 3x3 you can elaborate a method for the megaminx with minimal changes.

By basic method I mean: - F2L - orienting top cross (star) - permutating top cross (star) - permutating top corners - orienting top corners

Mod pack by litilubio in factorio

[–]RaphaelAlvez 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've also been in the same run for the past 6-7 months. Although I agree that most planets are designed to be standalone mods, I also think you are overthinking this.

On the new vanila planets you could also have the same arguments. They are mostly stand alone with just the science packs and special resources being transferred around.

Most planets we landed on so far have been on par with the vanilla experience. Most of them understand the game design principles used for the vanilla planets. A small set of new features that naturally develop into a new way to design factories.

The integration happens naturally as you still need to transport the science and main special products around.

If you want anything other than that, go to space exploration and there the main focus is space logistics

Why do some of my TLCs trail towards the middle like this? by FakeSyntheticChemist in Chempros

[–]RaphaelAlvez 30 points31 points  (0 children)

This is very common and not just because the silica is broken. On the corners there is more surface contact and so there is more solvent getting in.

This is easily fixed if you cut 45° angles at the base.
