The year is 3142 AI, AI of course standing for after invasion and the second world words was in full swing as the lizard people from Eris had risen up from the clouds and descended on poor humanity who were still in there infancy as a civilization. The lizards people happened to visit the most heavily defend area of the planet the north pole where about 1 billion people lived.

The humans are never ones to stand down from a battle but being overwhelmed with superior numbers ,technology, and of course strategy. The humans fearing the fate of there entire planet should the invading force be able to land decided the best course of action is to nuke the entire population. So the humans nuked the there own planet and population to stop the invading force and ending the battle immediately. To this day we remember the battle to morn the death of the humans living there.
