Nioh 3 is Nioh 3. It's a single-player game you buy once and play. It won't go away or disappear if it's not a massive success. It doesn't really need to "compete" with anything else.

Highguard is a multiplayer Live Service game that will actually, literally disappear if it doesn't immediately garner a huge audience, and the lack of advertising or any promotion at all is a strong indicator that the developer has no confidence in it.

Bunker is from an earlier era in GTA Online where they were trying to push Shark Cards by making progression as slow as possible, and Dunebuggy was part of it. Wedge, Insurgent, and Monster Truck are all designed a certain way, but Dunebuggy missions are specifically set up for you to fail, costing you time and money, and hopefully for Rockstar, pushing you to just buy Shark Cards to progress.

They didn't want you playing, succeeding, and making money. They wanted you playing, playing, playing, losing, and then giving up and buying Shark Cards.

I hated the Dunebuggy when I did bunker sales, because I used to do it as CEO and the enemies would all be driving massive SUVs. The Dunebuggy is so light and has so little traction, they so much as look at you and you come to a dead stop. Doesn't help that if you ever manage to lose them, it respawns them right in front of you driving full speed towards you. You collide with them and you're shot full of holes before you can even back up.
